The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Ndn71, "Quite a few have stated its indicative of positive trial results leaking."
Er, nope. You've made that up.
abrooking, you announced your sell because someone else did? Fair enough.
I see what you mean about inane and desperate posts.
Sorry abrooking, folk buy and sell all the time, I get that, but only a miniscule fraction actually announce it, I can't imagine why you wrote a post to announce that you had sold. What was the point of that, is it another Warren Buffet thing?
abrooking, I'm not sure what the connection is with selling and buying back the next day and Warren Buffet?
I can't image why you did it but hey, 5% discount, knock yourself out, I bet it works everytime "baby!"
Andybe4 lives in a fantasy world. He has made up a narrative that a group of people posted that there would be an rns today and has based a full day of I told you so based on something that didn't actually happen in the first place.
Now he's apparently been told by another group that he's a paid deramper??
He made that up and will now rant manically about that!
As he posted a few weeks ago.....
"I just post to amuse myself at times and get a reaction"
He doesn't seem to care that he looks like a nutcase when he does it though.
Mugginsthedog, it's all about the price you buy at and the price you sell at. What happens in-between is just paper returns and effectively meaningless.
Thanks to your trolling directing my research early last year I invested a lot more in mwg than I usually invest in individual shares. In terms of actual banked, rather than paper profit, it is my 2nd best share of the last 12 months.
You are a sad loser but you helped me make me a lot of cash in mwg so for that I am grateful.
I have enjoyed pointing out the part you played in my success, particularly as you have lost so much in mwg and been unable to move on. You are confusing smug with schadenfreude, lol!
GreggsStottie, based on the reported production of 100k treatments/month I came up with £3bn, ie £15/share.
I worked it through and posted it several months ago but for some reason the post history feature isn't working on here.
I'd expect a buyout to be at least double that.
mattw007, nobody said there would DEFINITELY be an RNS today.
Andybe4 is a sel confessed wum. When asked to explain a series of stupid posts several weeks ago he responded with....
"I just post to amuse myself at times and get a reaction."
To put it in simple terms andybe4 is a troll (or a nutcase?) and best ignored.
Everyone hopes you're right and after omicron they'll never be another covid mutation.
I think we should try and be a bit more realistic so.... meanwhile in a marginally less unlikely opposite universe I think that gazillions of treatments will be stockpiled just on the off chance there might be a mutation, and sng will be worth £500billion.
"Keen to hear opposing views to this."
I hold funds and property long term.
When it comes to individual shares, particularly on aim, I set targets, but I don't automatically sell when that target is hit. If a share goes higher than my target I set a stop loss at my usually modest target and see what happens.
I've no idea what target zm set for he1 and mode but personally I'm happy with 20%, so both were just as good as mwg was.
I said at the time I sold dvrg that I might miss out, but I haven't.
Mugginsthedog picked loads of reasons why mwg was a poor investment, but when I researched his points I found that they had been addressed. It will be good to see some of his concerns over dvrg addressed, obviously not the pathetic personal insults aimed at GB, but "cruises, breathalyser sales etc etc). The China deal".
If all that is sorted in 2022 this will do even better than mwg did!
Mode global hit +60% and he1 hit +200%!
I was happy with 20% here (thanks mugginsthedog) and I've been waiting for an excuse to buy back for another 20%.
This'll do!
This was discussed back in early November. The share price dropped a bit but the market cap was soon back up around all time highs with the share price, as expected, £2+.

I'm astonished anyone who has been previously banned on here can openly return with another username to disrupt the board.
Org was/is a cretin of epic proportions, ask 'simon' on twitter.
While catching up on here I read a post saying lots of drugs fail from P2 to P3, no shyyt Sherlock!
There are phase 3 trials and there are phase 3 trials. Sometimes you have to scratch a bit off the surface to understand what you're dealing with.
Andym123, you must be 'going round the bend' if you think that there has ever been a consensus on here to encourage inexperienced investors to put everything into this rather than hold something back.
It does put a lot of what you post into perspective though.
I've always thought the vaccine or nothing loonies were more, err, loony than the anti-vaxers and that unhinged post just confirms it.
Having sold at the end of the first and second quarters I was expecting polar to sell at the end of September but the share price had, what I called at the time, a bit of a wobble and they appear to have held off selling. That makes sense as that would have probably been their lowest selling price of the year.
The sell at the end of this last quarter comes as no surprise.
It's interesting (to me at least) that each time polar have sold polygon have bought.
Andym123, when I read your earlier post, the bit about no refunds did come across as incredibly sarcastic.
Thanks for explaining that you were actually just being incredibly condescending.
It's more than possible to make £2million on an aim share. Bragging about it on an anonymous internet forum does come across as a bit odd though.
That 'not very good news' post reminds me of one of those David Brent lines where he's trying to sound like he knows what he's talking about but literally everyone looking on is cringing in toe curling embarrassment for him.
