Bitcoin-related stocks up
kr1 up 16%
time for qbt to play catch up?
Seems odd to me that the UK Gov't would, on the one hand, have technology funds, to assist startups in , say, battery science. And then when such a company talks of plant scale-ups (more employment) and achieves industry certification, they would let it fail, for want of finance.

Nice to see Dow Jones covering it (Write to Anthony O. Goriainoff at anthony.orunagoriainoff@dowjones.com).
Seems that new US manager is in Miami. They shortlisted 20 contractors to talk to, and are now talking to ten of those (I thought he said)
He emphaised that these contractors don't have the team of specialists (advanced algorithm tech)that qbt has.
So a good add-on for a bitcoin miner.
Lots of bashing posts today. Here's a more positive one (22 May 2023) for some balance....
Certain entities are very desperate for persons to sell all of a sudden, if one checks the posting records of the two entries behind this one you will see they are 'experts' in 10+ stocks over the last 30 days, remember it is a well known fact that market makers/brokers/city pro's post on bulletin boards - remember that !
[poster] I have remained bullish on the outcome for WBI since 'that' RNS, what the bashers fail to mention is the fact that the company has material assets and ability to raise capital against those assets - the bashers suggest the bank will take the assets of WBI, farcical to say the least, what would a bank do with them for example.
To add weight to a possible positive outcome is the WBI Twitter feed, it remains business focused, not like a company who are in serious difficulty is it.
This BOD are very well connected, in fact the CEO met the King at Buckingham Palace earlier this year, I have met Dolan and Miles Pelham at the UK Investor Show historically, they are serious businessmen - Pelham still has an interest here (he is worth $100m+) If anyone thinks this business is going to the wall for a short term debt of $2.9m they are deluded - that is what the bashers are telling you.
No, the bashers are here for a reason, an economic one, seen it all before, one thing for certain if this doubles or trebles on news they will not apologise !
DYOR etc
The debt ceiling problem solved in the US
... has to be good news for Bitcoin
And the new US appointment makes qbt a real force for those miners wanting to be moree efficient.
SP should be much higher IMO.
Graphene in concrete:
There are changes happening too, in building standards. California, Toronto, it'll soon become the rage...
In May 2023, Toronto, became the first North American jurisdiction to require lower-carbon construction materials, limiting embodied carbon from new municipal building construction. New “City-owned” buildings must now limit upfront embodied emission intensity (emissions associated with manufacturing, transporting, and constructing major structural and envelope systems) to below 350 kilograms of CO2-equivalent per square metre of construction. For “non-city” buildings, this requirement is a tier 2 requirement, meaning optional, in the latest version of the Toronto Green Standard (TGS), but private developers should take note as tier 2 measures usually transition into tier 1, meaning they become mandatory requirements, when the next version of the TGS is implemented and the tiers are adjusted accordingly.
“Similar standards initiated in California played a pivotal role in sparking the electric vehicle revolution,” said Simon Marcotte, President and CEO, Black Swan. “With the concrete industry being responsible for more than 8 per cent of global CO2 emissions, it is only a matter of time before similar building codes continue to spread across the globe. This shift necessitates practical solutions which we can provide. Black Swan is part of a recently established fully integrated supply chain, including NERD and ARUP, a multinational engineering consultancy headquartered in London, United Kingdom, with 18,000 experts working across 140 countries, to provide turnkey solutions to the construction industry.”

More media interest in phosphate I reckon, see:
Hefei, Anhui-based Gotion unveiled its L600 LMFP battery cells based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry and a battery pack called Astroinno Battery at its 12th technology conference today.

The L600 LMFP cells have an energy density of 240 Wh/kg, or 525 Wh/L. The cells support 4,000 cycles at room temperature and 1,800 cycles at high temperature, according to the company.
