@DRB - from what I've read, the massive rise is coming from under 30's in London and mostly Delta (at the moment). Guessing it's all the Christmas parties etc etc people are going to at the moment...

Totally agree Val. Certainly feels like something is going on and whatever it is is meant to suppress the SP. Still wonder whether it's all tied up/related to the DHSC dispute and a lack of positive news flow is required to keep the SP suppressed as much as possible in the short term.

This isn't a ramp by any stretch - still firmly believe we're under valued here (and not just because I need a bit more to get even)

Interview was yesterday - or is there another?

@united - no, it was updated packaging in the Numed masks (box of 50, same as ordered through either Mag or Virion, I forget - but the older box was March batch). I'll need to check the batch # on my parents Numed order - but pretty sure it was slightly different to mine - but still around May.

Consistency of the newer masks seems better - had a sub-pack of ~10 in the older batch which had issues with the ear loops - I believe this was one of the things they struggled with the Lemu machine. If anything the later batch smells a bit less of popcorn as well...

@United - Amazon stock does still look to be from the Lemu machine. However, more recent stock (numed) looks to be from later batches dated in May which are more likely to be Volz (IMO).

Should have gone with my gut and sold some (still at a loss) and bought back in on the dip! Ah well, live and learn.

Plenty of smoke and mirrors at play here today - dummy trades often showing buys as sells (not as much the other way around I've noticed).

Lets see where this ends up - be careful everyone! But lets hope for some follow-up RNS's this week!

Where has it been confirmed? One person saying they were given a mask at a&e? No other evidence - need something a bit firmer than that - especially from someone who's been citing nhs contracts for the best part of a year.

Im all for the SP heading north - but only on concrete evidence, not vicious rumours which just lead to a pump and dump leaving some high and dry. I'm underwater still here as many are - but from the initial 7p days. I'm lucky in that the average after all that was in the 3's (and now in the mid 1's) but plenty are still well well under here....

Can you share some pics (via twitter for example)? There was a similar rampy post a few weeks ago and it turns out to be a white 3 ply mask.... It'd be great if true, but given this is NNN you can understand the scepticism....

The mask machine did produce product - the initial batches sent to Amazon / mag health etc came from it.

The later batches not so sure - potentially volz, there is a slight difference in elastic tension on the boxes I have from May batches Vs March. More consistent though.

Fingers crossed this is a turning point. In hindsight I should have averaged down at 0.5, but given the track record over the last 11 months decided against it. I'd lost enough and didn't want to add to something I didn't see any future in.

I'd written off any cash here to be honest - it was either going to zero or through the roof. Not sure we're quite at the "through the roof" phase yet - let's see what Monday brings.

I'm just about break even on one holding (ISA) and need a little more to get the other back - it'll be nice if that happens but I'm still not counting any chickens!

This is certainly the most positive news we've had in a long time (including the crazy ramp for India) - but this one feels like it has more legs. It's a great product - the masks continue to get peoples attention when you explain what they do , lets hope the HVAC products do the same....

Just as a side note, does anyone know how much of a foothold volz have in the HVAC world currently - e.g is there an existing customer base to expand new offerings into?

They maybe forced into issuing something if the SP heads further north today - either a statement of the facts or a speeding ticket...

TBFH they should have just announced things to the market - but perhaps they're not quite ready for a "Facebook relationship status update" just yet...

Still think the lack of news relates to the DHSC negotiations.... Much easier to argue or put pressure on the DHSC when the SP is being hammered (despite the fact the contract/stock have already been written off in the accounts...) rather than with it flying....

No doubt the SP will be increased in a few hours so a number of the buys that are going on now show as sells later. Seems to be a regular pattern here to disguise what's actually going on trades wise.

I hope some/any of this is right and there are things in the works... Currently a load down here (60+%). Getting to the point of cutting my losses at the moment - but the only thing stopping me is that there's more upside than downside currently (downside takes me to 0, but closer to that than break even)

@sir_digby - I've seen the graph, but any figures to go along with that? i.e have they gone from 1 -> 3 a day? Tripled admissions doesn't go hand in hand with mild disease (unless their case rates are MASSIVELY MASSIVELY higher - but even then some reports have suggested mild disease even in admissions - so that doesn't really make sense either).

Feels like it's a bit early to draw too many conclusions at the moment...

@Ventura - Did wonder this myself. Perhaps the gov realised they'd gone a bit too far easing restrictions? The current UK case rates look reasonably static, but we're not in the depths of winter yet (and Christmas mixing, people travelling etc etc) which will no doubt lead to a bounce in cases.
New variant is a good time to save face and backpedal a little as well as a little scaremongering to get vax uptake in the younger cohorts a little higher. Masks help (even if only to serve as reminder to people to keep away) and it's something relatively simple and pain free ...

If the gov really wanted to reduce the chance of transmission then large indoor gatherings would be banned and the WFH mandate would be back.
