RE: 4 producing mines in 202411 Nov 2024 20:32
Update from Nish Patel - TR1 holder following corporate outing on Saturday;
Was great to be invited to marula corporate event and meet the likes of JB, Rich, Angie (maru), Richard (Fujax), Shea (baccus capital), Alan (asset management), and other. Was a great way in mix and talk business but informal business.
So the maru, neo, ska family just gets bigger and bigger everytime i meet and find out more. JB, Rich, Sean (neo) all were at uni together one year apart, specialising in different fields, and played rugby together. So there connection goes back donkey’s years. They all aligned and know what they want to achieve and looking to do this together. Altough, they not on the boards of all companies, does not mean they are not involved helping, and do have shareholdings.
This also goes for the people they have around them and the people they like to get involved with. I could tell from the outset this is going to be a great evening!
MARU
Richard Lloyd, master geologist, absolute great guy. Actually, one of the lads! Brings back memories of time with Collins at Larisoro. So, clued up, they know there stuff just by looking at pics.
Was showing me pics of some of the stuff he bought back with him. The grading here at Kinusi is bloody world class. Explained all the different elements and gradings of the different colours. Some super grades ranging from 30-40%
He’s worked on other projects (non maru) and the colouring is on the lower end of the stuff at kinusi and you have to go searching for it, as scattered in small bits all over the place. At Kinusi they are finding this top quality high grade stuff everywhere, no need to search, piles and piles of the stuff all over. He absolute loves Kinusi and the stuff there.
Personally, from near the beginning of investing in maru, i always loved the Kinusi project more than Blesberg. Talking with people tonight just confirmed that for me. Blesberg is the bread and butter, Kinusi is the jam and cream.
Spoke with Richard from Fujax. Lives in UK, but South African) This guy literally brokered the deal with the Chinese for the lithium sulphate plant. It’s not just about digging up the ore and shipping. Whats they point of make $1000 when you can make $10000 for a little more work. We all here to make money, no point me just saying ok i’ll take that low grade off you and ship, like any other lithium miner. We need to be different and work to get the most value from this. They worked out with the Chinese what was required and how to do it.
Fujax also working with the copper offtake. 250t going to Fujax this month.
Things are all lining up nicely and people just need to understand things have to be complete step by step, not just deal agreed and done. Things just need to be done correctly and legally.
