The SP was 5p on the 5th Feb and there was a large red candle indicating selling pressure. Would they be able to drop that many on the market in one hit? I would have thought short opened gradually over time...
SB4132, yes I emailed some questions in. I'm looking forward to the AGM to see what they can answer from share holders, although I doubt we'll have any offer announced at the end of the week, I don't mind being proven wrong though.
It would be nice to know how much Rhodium we have, this stuff could make a massive difference to our average PGM price when is over $10k per ounce. An update on last years basket would nice while we wait for the big news.
Put a voice to the name on the link below (Nigel talking). TW mentioned says he’s a school teacher, so this so called Oil and shares expert doesn’t work full time in the industry he’s commenting on. Another unqualified expert bashing our share.

Morning all,
Good post Ian.
I don't know if 9inch is just bitter he never went long in the 1 to 3p days, or whether he works for a shorting gang, but he turns up on various shares and rarely has anything good to say. The fact he told investors to sell out of NCYT at 40p shows how poor his judgement is and why anything comments he makes should be treated with extreme caution.
I still haven't sold one share, I've been here before where the share re-traces before making the next move up. Nothing ever goes up in a straight line, the MMs will move the SP to fill orders, or if the derampers scare weak holders in to selling.
Let's see what today brings, we're slightly oversold on daily chart so it's hopefully time to move up again with some FOMO Friday :)
Adam ‘accidentally’ opened a large short and then spent months spouting crap on here, trying to convince LTHs to sell when we resumed.
Lesson 1: Always do proper research before investing (long or short).
Lesson 2: Don’t mess with the Russians haha.
Freddie, why would anyone value your opinion when your first post was the below on the SYME board. You’re going to get very wet p I s s ing in to the wind.
‘Lots of people talking about this share, I'm fairly new to it, going to put a small amount in, finding it hard to understand what they actually do.’
I did some digging on what UBS charges for M&A advisory fees.

Table showing 2019 M&A table

According to UBS 2019 annual report, 2019 advisory revenues were $707M off the back of $83.2B worth of deals (advisory revenue shown on page 99). That circa 0.85% average commission per deal, probably less than we expected.
And look at this $16.4B cash deal they advised on in August, great to have UBS onboard.

Daveri007,
Perhaps the French government should have allowed the Novacyt test to be used in France with one gene? The lack of French order ruined French sentiment months ago and that certainly wasn’t anything to do with Anglo ties, it was French bureaucracy...
Now we have a path to gain French sentiment again with two gene test launched.
CS, I agree we need another contract extension or tender win to re-rate us back to much higher levels. There are many factors pointing to this:
- Novacyt have many job vacancies including territory based account managers across the UK (many of these positions filled now).
https://novacyt.com/careers/
- We're part of the established mega labs supply chain and the government has confirmed the PCR testing will also be further expanded across the UK (part of the £500M announced yesterday). Essential for any clinical setting where accuracy is most important. If NHS staff end up being tested weekly, it will likely be our test.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/500-million-funding-for-quick-result-covid-19-test-trials
- Our WinterPlex test was on the NHS wishlist, it makes perfect sense to test once and know whether it's Flu or Covid
- USA have also realised a two gene test will help lab capacity running a test once. Roche have already achieved FDA approval on their Flu / Covid test, no doubt our test will be going through approval too.
- We have sorted the two gene requirement for France and other countries like Poland, UAE and Belgium, they can either take the Covid only or Winterplex with two gene as we have both covered.
- We have manufacturing capacity ramped up already and supplies of materials sorted.
AVCT on the other hand have:
- No CE approved test (lots of Jam so far)
- Manufacturing capacity of several million tests per month? Sounds like they're not sure what they can actually produce? The government will have to multi-source any POC tests reducing your market share.
- Competition of other rapid tests, you've lost first mover advantage and are now running against every other rapid test.
- Do AVCT cover two genes? Flu and Covid in one test?
