Appreciate all your kind comments.
I’ve been used to being called a bit of a clot all my life but never realised they meant it literally ;-)
Sounds like most of us didn’t miss much at the meeting but thanks to those who made the effort and reported back.
When we DO get this elusive licence, perhaps we should celebrate in a suitable ‘licensed’ premises?
Just a thought....
I hold an A J Bell account Pablo and have done for around 10 years.
I spoke with them this morning and they confirmed the £10K minimum value ONLY applies to purchases and does not apply in the case of accepting CAI shares into any account.
This is therefore not an issue.
Hi Jr, no that’s not the case, I spoke with A J Bell this morning and yes, their minimum value for purchasing ASX shares is £10K, but not for accepting shares into a SIPP or any other account you hold. For this there is no minimum value/quantity.
To sell, again there’s no minimum value/quantity, just a dealing charge of £29.95.

Hi Jr, no that’s not correct.
I use sippdeal (also known as You Invest) which is a low cost online trading platform and is a subsidiary of A J Bell.
Their website is https://www.youinvest.co.uk/
I have a normal trading account, SIPP and ISA with them.
Low cost trading and they’ve already confirmed that there’s no problem accepting the Calidus shares into any of my three accounts and there’s absolutely no problem selling CAI shares, they just do it overnight due to the time difference.
I’d certainly recommend them from my experience to date (I’ve been with them around ten years).
Never thought you’d do it Mr Magnet, glad to see you here again!
Looking forward to your informative, calculated, we’ll researched (tenner each for those compliments, so you owe me thirty quid) posts.
Let’s just hope you don’t make the share price plunge eh, as that would a sp oil the fun here.
Okay, gone back to my bunker now ;-)
The following amendment has been made to the Distribution of Calidus Shares & Proposed Capital Reduction announcement released on 27 September 2019 at 07:00 under RNS No. 8769N.
The sentence "The Demerger is considered to be a fundamental change of business pursuant to AIM Rule 15 and therefore requires the approval of Shareholders at a General Meeting to be held on 12 October 2019" incorrectly stated the date of the Company's General Meeting as 12 October 2019, rather than the correct date of 14 October 2019.
All other details remain unchanged. Except...
P.S. We got the license

Distribution of CAI shares
Taken from Ferrex interim results dated 5th June 2015 (checkout the final sentence of the statement).....
‘The DFS exploring the viability of a 250,000 tonne per annum (“tpa”) 38% manganese product operation was further advanced during the reporting period, and as announced in May 2015, has now been completed. Negotiations over the Mining Convention, which outlines the fiscal, environmental and social issues governing the Company's and Togolese Government's commitments to each other were finalised as announced in March 2015. This was a highly positive milestone as it clears the way for issue of the Mining Permit, which is expected to happen soon after the appointment of the new Prime Minister and Ministers now that the Presidential elections are complete. Discussions with several parties over funding the capital costs for construction of the Nayega mine are underway and projected to continue with due diligence evaluation and field visits in the next reporting period.
Ferrex has a proven team with an excellent track record of advancing resource assets, developing mining operations and completing value-accretive trade sales. Your board is aligned with shareholder interests through substantial investment, with our Directors holding 25% of the issued shares in the Company. We look forward to reporting good news in the next period - grant of the Nayega Mining Permit, funding secured for development and a definite timeline to construction.’
