US CPI could surprise on the Low side then we are firing on all cylinders a low number & the shorts will start throwing in the towel across the board having made an estimated $300Bil so no tears but they gave us the opportunity to buy a company at a fire sale price… £2.50 fair value now?!

Basically the market are on the wrong side which is rare that they bought into the doom & gloom narrative whereas we could see airports packed pubs restaurants packed e-commerce booming add to that the strikes and people couldn’t get into cities to buy presents then the 7 day freeze leading upto Christmas has added to the huge spend online..

Probably just buying Whey monthly no need to buy 3 months at a time when it’s tanking… Remember when we issued margin warning/cut the 2 main reasons Moulding flagged was Whey & FX which are both tailwinds. Only the Yen has been a headwind all the other major currencies are a tailwind against the £ due to its extreme weakness nobody ever would have thought £ vs $ 1.07. Back to around 1.20 now but average over the last 5 years is 1.38. On Whey & FX alone we should have extreme strong bottom line results & that’s even if Revenue wasn’t up which we all think it is. IMO

Because the Whey price got so high the production has by dairies has since been ramped up to cash in on this by suppliers which is now creating an oversupply. Also As the main issue with Whey price was actually down to supply chain & not a huge lack of Whey during Covid so Whey has a lot further to fall in price due to the high amounts now available from the above.. IMO GLA
