It’s the markets firing a warning shot across FED ‘You’ve gone 2 hard 2 fast with interest rates’ Just like they were 2 slow lifting them saying inflation was ‘transient’ they’ve fuc..d up again in the the opposite direction!!!!!! Now with inflation at 8% they can’t just cut rates and pump in more liquidity basically they have backed themselves into a corner and the markets know it.. IMO

FED to pause interest rate rise in March IMO even with a hot Inflation number tomorrow. The FED has to pause to assess exactly where the financial sector is now in the wake of SVB & where other skeletons may be hiding in the financial sector due to rapid interest rate increases…. It’s creaking & the FED surely can’t put anymore pressure on… IMO

SVB failure has taken a 0.50% interest rate rise off the table for FED. Also THG would have gone down with the markets this week. FTSE futures were down 200 points now +5.. THG fundamentals back at the forefront this week rather than failing banks linked to Tech which always has a read across. I expect the markets especially in US to have a very strong week due to interest rate 0.25% rise or even a pause now the FED can see the sort of impact fast interest rate rises are causing albeit SVB a specific lending model without the diversification of the other major banks..

I always thought Diageo was the reason for the age verification software but only a hunch.. I think it’s all building to D Day - April results… (Yeah I know we’ve heard it all before) But this time it’s different as we will have the Separation figures..
