RE: Sports supplement surge in Jan20 Feb 2026 13:41
Everything pointing to a great start to 2026 for myprotein… Wouldn’t surprise me more partnerships now Maccas etc jumping on the bandwagon & we are the massive player in this market.. Mars I’m sure will be keen to move quickly with more Mars / Snickers products after the Snickers Whey sold out twice.. The market is moving so quickly to protein just like it mistakenly did with the Zero Fat which got everyone hooked on sugar back in the day! Myprotein licensing agreement with Greencore Group to supply protein-enriched food-on-the-go products, such as wraps and salads, to Sainsbury's supermarkets and convenience stores is a game changer add the extra frozen products Iceland are rolling out, Jimmy Coffee etc etc & we are now front & centre in the offline protein market & the huge move to Protein. Don’t let the FUD team get in your head the SP is not the company I know it’s hard at times with all the noise surrounding THG & Moulding but this is the happiest I’ve ever been to hold THG & this will rerate very soon in my opinion. I’ve been down here a few times over the last few years and it’s always been the best time to buy more for me… Lots of emotion on here as pretty everyone pi is losing money in THG but I’d say hang in there pay day is coming at some stage or is it going to Zero as the FUD would have you believe.. I believe we’ve just had the Best January we’ve ever had… April results!? If you look at the daily manipulation of SP & FUD it will drive you crazy so just put the shares in bottom drawer & come back weeks leading upto results IMO.. This Jeff Bezos quote below seems quite apt at the moment.. Have a great weekend Everyone..
Jeff Bezos "The stock is not the company, and the company is not the stock" to describe the disconnect between a business's fundamental health and its market valuation.
Bezos first used this philosophy during the 2000–2001 dot-com crash when Amazon's share price plummeted from $113 to $6. He noted that while the stock was "going the wrong way," every internal business metric—including customer growth, profit per unit, and operational efficiency—was "going the right way" and improving rapidly.
