Not great results & not sure why they protecting customers so much rather than putting up prices like everyone else. I guess moving forwards that customer retention will pay off but Jam tomorrow.. Not the end of the world though in this environment and surely mostly baked in. Who knows market reaction as still positives -

Not sure I agree @golden regards hotels & Spa & fitness I recently stayed at the Corintha Attard in Malta. My wife specifically picked it because of the ESPA Spa & Fitness Club. The fact that the ESPA products are throughout the hotel in the rooms bathrooms etc only added to the experience for my wife and on our return only continued her spending on the products as reconfirming that higher end experience at home. IMO…

This is gonna be a slow walk back up so after don’t expect SP fireworks I’d take 60p and a change in sentiment which will eventually coincide with the change in Macro already mentioned and then you go towards £1+ 2023 IMO

US next inflation read over the pond down to 7.5% with one more big hike 0.75 then they are floating awaiting data which will show inflation keeps coming down so they pivot to a few 0.50 0.25 rises and they are done possibly cutting 2023! They don’t want to be raising rates in 2023 so getting it done now then get ready for that shift we are only 3 months away from 2023 total sentiment change Risk ON growth/tech and the wave from US will hit here immediately IMO DYOR
