Moulding was definitely leaving the door ajar when he said about would those same banks/advisors consider the £1.70 offer in this climate in a different light now?! It seems the offers were rejected as built on debt but what annoys me is the Candy offer was never played out so we didn’t get a chance to exit at £2+ or at least he should have played the game as it might have ended up £2.50-£3 who knows if the Saudis were involved….

I think it’s a good thing as Hopefully it’s action stations now unless you are selling or packing advent calendars swanning around being ‘Director Of Woke’ won’t cut it now it’s ‘Nose to the Grindstone’ Cut the Fat cut the capex cut the vanity and grow the core business Beauty & Nutrition which is carrying Ingenuity which no doubt has a load of £100k + employees fluffing around not creating any actual money for the business! Id rather have 10 of Mouldings brown jumpers sat on the back of chairs than pay 10 people £1Mil!! Action stations Moulding be one of the few that come out of this Macro environment as a massive winner tough times call for tough action…

I expect everyone to buy an advent calendar! Thank F… we are at full employment and the Government has just eased the energy pressures otherwise could have been even tougher environment. Good news they’ve woken up and smelt the coffee cutting Capex and as someone said now roll up their sleeves and get there heads down & hopefully come out of this a lot leaner. £500 Mil cash year end makes for a very strong balance sheet. I liked Moulding struggle to answer if there had been any offers for Nutrition. I agree cut all the vanity projects. Looks like Beauty is the winner & refocus Ingenuity on the Whales… Still rubbish day but gotta crack on as nearly all retail in exactly the same boat. All good HH apart from another £20k+ down earlier today though now only £10k as SP recovers. Surely not a blue finish?! I’m not leveraged my own money so just gonna wait this one out & still confident long term as mostly Macro all others suffering similarly. Yes the 0.2x multiple on nutrition is crazy & moulding was so cagey on it wouldn’t surprise me if there are many interested parties…
