You can’t deny that A1 called the last placing bang on. It’s the same on all these boards, anyone who goes against the grain of greedy holders gets called a troll. Yet all the pump merchants who are the trapped bulls just become bitter at posters like A1 as if it was his/her fault. So maybe the filter button wasn’t and isn’t the sharpest of ideas.

The debt is the problem TTF, they don’t have enough fcf to pay it down then it needs restructuring, just like they are trying to do now. But if all the fleet was under contract would they still have enough fcf to pay it down and not breach any covenants? If the answer to that is still no even with the cost savings then what? All the company will do is work to service the interest on the debt, as an investor you’d want to see growth so without borrowing more to invest the only way imv is some kind of d4e to release some of that fcf.

There’re many risks when investing A1, but this co going private imv is not one of them. Like I said before funding could be needed on the outcome of the licensing round if the Clnr and it’s partner get the block they’ve gone for. As the majority of the previous funds raised are for clnr to pay their share of the other JV’s. Yet that outcome is not know yet and won’t be for a while I can’t see any reason to raise now. One more thing if the company has the markets interest surely holders won’t be selling, especially if they are trapped bulls. So we’ll see.

I think you’re barking up the wrong tree this tine A1. You’re reading from the investment policy which has been the same with the same wording since the company was formed. I agree it was strange that Algy did one and set up straight away, apparently discussed over dinner and there you go, Cluff Africa was born. Also which institutional investors are you talking about?

No, I’m saying the sp dropped before June due to the fact the market knew a fundraise was on the cards. Since that fundraise the sp has dropped only 10% so I can’t see a big seller here or it would of dropped more. So your heading of ‘placing coming here’ in my view is incorrect as the company has sufficient funds to see it through barring any changes due to the licensing round outcome. You’re suspecting MS is selling out but the sp doesn’t provide any evidence of that.

We both knew funding was on the way last year A1, so forget the 5p that’s happened in the past. I’m talking about now and the price of the £15m fundraise at 1.75, if you state there’s a big seller I would of expected the sp to decline more than 10% in the last 7 months on the back of it. The current cash as stated with see them through for the work commitments current active. No one can say at this present time whether clnr will need more funds until either the results are know from the licence round and whether they do partner up on another licence with the major. Even if the JV’s currently active are a wash out from bad study results the funds that are earmarked for the drills will become available.

We all have to invest with caution A1 that’s a given. So when you say there’s a seller and suspect it’s MS(IPGL 16.8% 30/8/19) then surely that holding would of changed by now. Plus considering the main raise was at 1.75 back in June 19 the sp has not really dropped enough in the 7 months since (c.10%) to claim its MS/major who’s selling and no doubt just pi’s going on the timescales stated by the company. The only time I suspect any funds to be raised is if Clnr and the major that are working together on a new licence in the 32 round split the percentage and clnr need to raise to cover their costs of a new area above and beyond the JV’s already established. Which is the stated case within the investment policy of growing the asset base.

So basically you’re quoting the ‘investment policy’ which has always said the same!!

Just trying to find out what A1 has seen I hadn’t as I’ve been buying for a while FD that’s all. Personally I can’t see them raising funds anytime soon. They could possibly later in the year dependant on the outcome of the licence round or a change of strategy due to Shell not liking the results of the studies. Clnr have actually stated that certain points within the RNS are forward looking and could change which is standard practice, they don’t have a working crystal ball just like the rest of us.

When someone’s buying/selling a stock they’re speculating, when someone has a theory their speculating ,whether that’s buying/selling a stock or not. It’s all speculation!!!

Thing is though Diggit it is negative if the company releases a presentation stating this and that with a schedule and costings. Especially back in April when they never had enough money, never mind now. That’s not negative speculation is negative facts. The resource definition on page 20 of the presentation includes drilling for May, June and July 2019 with proof of concept and a potential JORC compliant resource definition for September 2019. Basically a 5 month process from start of drilling and a Jorc resource if the results are up to standard. It’s certainly a slowly but surely strategy, one of the best I’ve ever seen.
