Isn’t it all if’s FD it is exploration after all, or are the if’s just the more negative points? No guarantees they hit a commercial discovery but everyone’s seems adamant that’s not an if but a given. If Shell go ahead and drill, if Shell need more studies before making that decision, if they get more licences, buts it’s certainly not an if to more funding if they do, that is a given. No one starts reporting posters when someone posts ‘good news imminent’, although a agree A1 did hammer things a bit to much. Yet if Scooby thinks then reports A1 for inside info and then he’s banned then he could of been closer to the truth than you think. It also wasn’t a case of singling out SuperRoty, it was just that I replied the original post so remembered it. It will be interesting to read this board now and see if it turns into a holding hands with daisy chains tiaras on dancing in circles all agreeing with each other that as that won’t be beneficial to anyone.

And no I’m not buddies with A1 Scooby, did you know you can get reported for spreading rumours that aren’t true, trying to discredit posters for your own agenda by influencing others posters!

FD I’ve had all that from the BadA it’s boring and I disagreed with A1 on his African theory. I could also go back over a few pages of posts and find plenty of posts that are trying to influence the sp. SuperRoty only just posted this week about a decision to drill in Q1, the company aren’t saying that. Was he trying to influence buyers? They can’t pre budget no, we all know that, hence why in an early post of mind i explained it have you not read it? So there’s a strong possibility that funding will be needed if they get the extra licences. Nothing negative about that it’s the reality of a company that has no revenue and the money they do have is earmarked for other licences if the decide to go ahead.

We all know that, but what about the work programs on the new licences if they get them? No mention about that and how it will be funded. I guess their planned strategy will change if they do.

If you read the RNS’s from the company correctly FD then everyone has a right to change their tune as and when things happen or don’t, jeez even the company has standard statements to that affect. So I’ll say it again, the company raised funds to pay for their share on the partnership licences and for working capital, so they can also say they are fully funding until X date. Things do and will always change, if they get the other licences things have changed from the original statement by the company. So will those funds stretch to pay for studies to come on those new licences. No, is the simple answer, so they will need to raise more funds. Now if that’s what A1 believes will be the case then he has a right to post that and is more in touch with this investment lark than the rest that read an RNS and believe it to be exactly what will happen because that’s what the company has said. So it’s no use posters calling A1 a fool, liar, scaremonger or having inside info, as in my book it’s called interpreting what could happen and been ready for it. Like I’ve said “if you bait a bear.......”. You’d all miss A1 though if he didn’t post that I am sure of as you’d all have no one to gripe at. But if you are tired of the posts use the filter button, it is that simple. News will move this share, no news will drop it.

Aim investors don’t like a delay and rightly so as it’s not good for the sp and generally not good for the company. We can all state ‘these things take time’ , ‘pi’s are impatient’ etc etc. But the bods of these listed companies are quick to big up their expertise on their websites and quick to spit out dates, they’re the ones that issue these timelines so they’re the ones accountable when they don’t hit them. So it’s no good blaming the impatience of pi’s. Investors have their hard earned in here and have a right to be ‘nervy’ when the sp has dropped from 3.7 to 2.7 in the space of 6 weeks so close to this ‘slightly’ delayed DFS.

How do you know they haven’t drawn on the loan yet?

As I’ve said before, the only way I can see them having to raise any funds is if they get the licence from the next round with the their partner. The odds of them winning it I suspect are quite high.

I can’t see where it mentions H1 if it did it gives scope for no DFS until the end of June and you can’t kickstart the new year in June! As we all know every ‘slight’ delay adds up to a bigger delay which generally adds up to more dilution. Like you say patience is always required and plenty on this bb have been very patient but I’m sure it will arrive soon, maybe even in the morning.

As for the enormous placing, clnr need to fund working capital plus prove they have the funds for their share or the drill costs if a decision to drill is made. CFO’s come and go so I don’t see a problem there and there’s no proof of a large seller. So the only point left is the options!

That’s not how I saw this board (and others) last year, most just tried to discredit anyone who suggested it.
I see A1’s character similar to mine, bait a bear and you’ll get bitten. Having balance doesn’t hurt, and before anyone says ‘yeah but he/she isn’t balanced as the posts are always negative blah blah. It’s balance on the board in general and I’m sure 10 positive posts against 1 negative evens out the always negative posts from one poster.

I’m a buyer under 1.75p but it doesn’t mean I have to attack every negative post/poster. It just makes me look into things a little more with extra research.
