What a sad end - I have been around this share way too long - the irony that in the end, maybe RP and CF weren't so different after all.

I have held through good and bad and whilst its been a fascinating project to follow from an engineering point of view I am saddened to get to where we are now.

I have shed the majority of the holding in my ISA and also SIPP - something I never thought I would do under these terms and although UK based, I am not local to the mine although I know the area well and just hope things work out for everyone involved (well maybe not quite everyone)

Someone mentioned it would be hard to drive past the mine everyday knowing what could have been and I think I share this sentiment and if I was local would probably have an even stronger opinion as I would have experienced the SXX PR machine working full throttle over the last few years.

I know that - hence the reference to the FTSE being not a great deal better

AIM is reknown to be a joke - I sometimes wonder whether the FTSE is much better

Very Interesting - great to get a mention and it was certainly staged and pre-prepared - totally didn't expect it with all the other goings on at the moment

As she starts to talk, TM glances over her left shoulder at someone behind - was this to quieten someone down or was it someone who has also perhaps been involved from the government ? or am I making something of nothing.

Sadly not - not sure what happened to Phil.

I was just a bog standard user/reader. Had investment in SXX for what seems like half my life now, iniitally via the ample/iii platform but slowly have managed to semi successfully move them into SIPP and ISA and also add too.

my inital foray was luck more then anything - well hopefully luck - back when Richard P was running and sailing in an altogether different direction, talking of CO2 sequestriation (sic) and Dakota.

There used to be some great posters on iii, Secretsqu, SS and also some great bashers too - in fact one may have appeared here too I think of late.

what happened to LK? I must admit it was around his time that I started to give up reading iii and now it seems the site is virtually unusable.

from an investment point of view, my god, there have been some, lets say frustrations along the way, but the progress is now wholly tangible - the flypast videos are brilliant and I find it hard to believe how far things have come.

there is some great info on here now too and always enjoyable to read, although when threads meander maybe not so
