BG technician reckon they are just like NHS and funded my tax payer....they need to wake up and get back to reality and understand centrica is a business owned by shareholders!!
The sooner we get rid of these greedy technicians the better centrica will be.
Just had a look online and the average salary for a proper “engineer” with degree in engineering, decent experience and IMeche,ICHem membership is 35k...These technicians together with the management have benefited greatly over the past 5 years whilst shareholders suffer!!

Unless you are Dinen then you probably would call them aeronautical/Boiler engineers....

All these new posters appearing on here telling us how good they are and they want company to change but not their contracts.

Technicians need to realise that it’s happening whether they like it or not....

Why do people call them “engineers” They are not engineers !!
They are ****ing boiler technicians!!
Using the term engineer to demand higher pay.
Times running out for these technicians ...sign the contract or leave!!

I am sure they get paid well and on par with other companies if not better....if you don’t like the offer leave and find another job. No ones stopping them.....
