You are not a deramper in my eyes - good healthy questions. If we can't have some debate on this it would be a shame.
A lot of the results are in house and via the incumbent to my knowledge which convinced the original investors and Yorkshire Bank etc. I have not seen any clinical trial data made public. This I believe is the bottle neck, as the Chinese run their own tests to see if they agree with CPTs own results/confidence/advocacy. I'm not one for blindly believing corporate CEOs ... countless examples of why you shouldn't. Applying logical thought says surely we have come to far for CPT to have nothing more than a plastic box? I fully agree with your line of thought, but I suppose this is part of the leap of faith. Depending what broker you follow (again ... let's not blindly trust brokers) ... SP targets range from 28p to 80p. It's much like start up oil drilling ... hit rocks or hit oil. That's a bit blunt tbf, but my point is on AIM with small companies it's a leap of faith.
CPT have some good tipsters/write ups ... I assume all of which are invested. Sharephrophets very open about being heavily invested.
My honest view ... and purely IMHO ... the play is to get a big pharma interested and sell the patent etc for the Tech. If we can get approvals and interest in China (where there is minimal competition) we should see sales. This gets the interest and a pharma swoops us up and takes the product to EU and possibly US as their networks are established as are routes to market (but competition there is strong for example Ava - although CPT tech more advanced ... if you believe them)
I will email CPT re trial data. Any other views welcome. I would encourage us all to debate and be constructive with it. GLA. Will post any reply I get from CPT.
Interesting point from Erik at recent investor show "we have products in customs at China"
