I don't understand why you are constantly sticking up for this company and it's board. Up to now they've delivered nothing but disappointment. People have a right to be angry, especially those who either didn't have the funds or ability to take the disgusting placing. If this company is anywhere near as good as you say it is, and the board are anywhere near as competent as you obviously think they are, then you've no need to keep posting here whenever someone expresses their discontent with the manner in which this company and it's board have conducted themselves. I know what it is though, you've taken the placing, and now the greed that took you over when you thought you were getting a bargain at 2p has now turned to uncertainty. You know full well you might not be able to flip those shares at the open, because the people who've been shafted here will be selling before you. Essentially, the people who've taken the placing have been shafted twice by the same company, and they only have their own greed and disregard for fellow investors to blame. The heavily discounted placing has made the company ridiculously overpriced and people like you only have yourselves to blame. The company is a bigger basket case than ever before because of the 2p pickpockets. That's Karma for you.

There's obviously some agreement in place otherwise they wouldn't be selling the tests on their site. In my mind, that is material. Not sure how they decide what is and isn't material.

It could be worth everyone here giving Singer Capital Markets a ring and reminding them of their duty as NOMAD to ensure Abingdon is abiding by market regulations. If they ignore that, then a friendly reminder that perhaps the FCA is the last port of call for many of us here. There have been so many blatant examples of a failure to update the market of material changes since Abingdon listed. They have a genuine case to answer here and if more of us here were more proactive in putting pressure on these companies and their advisors, they would have to start behaving in line with market regulations.

I agree Trader. The company needs to start abiding by market regulations and issuing a RNS when material changes have taken place.

If you're that interested pumpky, why don't you email Pocket Diagnostic and ask them if the tests are made in China or the UK. You're more likely to get a reply for a sales enquiry from their shop than you are emailing Abingdon. Better yet, why not phone their shop and you'll get the answer to your question in five minutes. Not hard really is it.

Whatever is going on with this test, they really should have issued a RNS. People don't realise quite how much Abingdon has achieved and delivered over the last 18 months. Unlike all the other companies, most of what they said they'd deliver on, they have, but unfortunately they've been dragged down by everything around them. If this was any other company we'd have had an RNS every other week for all the progress they've been making, but the board of Abingdon is prone to silence unfortunately. This is something they really need to work on.

I can't see them just selling the test without some other deal in place personally. They did say more TT's and contracts were lined up so you never know.

Well they've done similar things without informing anyone in the past. They're obviously selling it and have struck some sort of deal and haven't announced it, so it's not much of a jump to assume they do have a hand in manufacturing it and have yet to announce it.

No info yet, but every other test on their site is manufactured by Abingdon I believe, so it seems possible that they have struck some sort manufacturing deal. Hopefully our machines are rockin' and rollin' nicely at the moment. If they are manufacturing this, then it's a major step forward for Abingdon, making them one of the only UK companies making and selling an approved antigen home self test.

Hadn't looked on the website for a few weeks and only noticed it today, so thought I'd mention it. Didn't realise Happy had spotted it last week. I agree the communication is poor. This is pretty significant news though, I'm surprised it hasn't been more widely mentioned. As happy said, the board need to start issuing a RNS as and when these things develop.

.........If you look on Abingdon's Pocket Diagnostics website, there appears to be a new antigen home test for sale. All the tests on the site as far as I'm aware are manufactured by Abingdon, so I think it's safe to assume they're probably manufacturing this one. The tests appears to be the Wondfo test. Could Abingdon have secured a contract with a Chinese manufacturer? Very clever move if so, as you'll note the Wondfo is one of the approved tests for sale in the UK. Hope that's cheered a few people up today.

I bet Alastair is kicking himself that he can't find an imaginary NDA to hide behind as an excuse to withhold information regarding his next failure.

I haven't missed any developments here. Their main drug is only in the early stages of study and years away from generating actual profit, and in the meantime it's development will starve the company of cash regardless of how successful the studies prove to be.

What else have I missed? Oh yes, the "Gold Standard" test that Alastair raised £50m for and the hype around which helped pay for his mortgage is a pile of useless shyte. What else have I missed, oh yes, the SP has fell to 47p as I said it would months ago. Yes, really kicking myself over all the opportunities I missed out on with this one.

As you say, given how enthusiastic Alastair was about the LFT, and given how useless the "Gold Standard" test has turned out to be so far, his subdued commentary regarding the cancer treatment and it's progress really is a cause for concern in my opinion.

It was all new and a collection of very pertinent points deserving reasonable consideration I would say old chum.
