The Telegraph understands that the Department of Health is in negotiations with the Swiss healthcare company Roche to buy millions of the kits.On Wednesday night, Roche said it stood ready to provide hundreds of thousands of laboratory-based tests to the NHS each week. A Government source said: "We want to get our hands on as many of these as possible."On Wednesday night, Jeremy Hunt, the chairman of the health select committee and a former Health Secretary, said: "This is potentially very exciting news for people who work in the NHS and care sector who have been most exposed to the virus.

"If we can establish that antibodies give you immunity, it would mean that you can go back to work safely. As soon as we can be certain that antibodies give you long-lasting immunity, I would expect significant orders to be placed."

Steve Brine, a former health minister, described the move as a "potential game-changer," telling The Telegraph it could help improve public confidence to return to work as the lockdown is lifted.

I still think around £1.35 will be the bottom, not that it matters too much in the long run.

Puts them off buying and selling in the open market. Look at the share graph and amount of daily trades. Illiquid as you said so less action each day.

I’m a fan of GDR but I don’t think NYCT had a large share placing at half of the current price, so not a like for like analogy imho

I do think this company have a lot of different angles though. Not a day trader share though, the spread as I said limits lots of action each day which is a real shame. Spread makes it more of a long term hold.

Yes saw it last week. Came over well. Seems to be circulated more now. People are saying the ‘covid stock bubble’ has burst aside from companies with sales, like the .com boom. Sector had as poor last couple of days today so let’s see if it’s the case or not. This one hasn’t gone up loads yet but the huge spread puts a lot of iis off getting in.
