MrCosts - all of your highlighted concerns are none issues.
Once results are announced and they show a positive signal, then there will be nothing to worry about with regards to funding/cash.
For all we know, the reason why results haven't been announced yet is due to US funding being finalised and this will be announced at the same time.
MrCosts - If you believe in the independent science regarding inhaled interferon and it benefits to our immune system. If you believe in the management at SNG and you believe that there will be demand for the treatment if results are good...
...Then you can relax.
It makes you wonder how aware the NIH Director is to imminent news from Synairgen. Everyone wants to looks wise BEFORE the fact if they possibly can. The timing is very curious...
Great post Matml! Very informative
I’m sorry Andy but you’ve posted half a dozen times today how Covid variants are getting milder with quotes such as:
“ If you think that Covid will not get milder over time, firstly you clearly never had delta and then omicron.”
Whilst at the same time stating you have relatives that are hospitalised and dying with Omicron variant covid.
Either you are lying or you have no empathy for the serious condition your in-laws are in.
To reuse the RM quote you used:
“If covid is still a problem then we will be able to help.”
It very much appears that covid is still a real and present problem and that Synairgen will shortly be helping the world after a monumental effort through a lot of adversity.
Andy - it’s not being held back. Progress has been remarkably quick for such a small company.
I’m glad you’ve now accepted that the pandemic is still ongoing. I hope your relatives get well soon.
Andy - write to your MP or anyone else. You’re stating the obvious that lives would have been saved if the treatment was out sooner. When people review the pandemic and the lessons learnt there will be questions asked as to why SNG didn’t get an EUA after p2 trials in 2020 showed efficacy.
RM is fully aware that as a small biotech results have to be perfect. Discussions are ongoing with regulators and new hires are being recruited so don’t fret that time is being wasted.
You have answered your own question with regards to why results have to be gold standard (and they will be) it’s because a slip up would put us in the maybe pile behind the big boys.
With the results that are announced in the next few days/weeks there will be nothing the ‘big boys’ can do to stop SNG being at the front of queue
Andy - 13K a day dying and rising. That is not an indicator of the end of the pandemic...
The drug will be out very shortly and demand will outstrip supply for the foreseeable future.
I would also add that the global covid death rate on a 7 day average is increasing every day since the beginning of 2022. It currently is higher that its been at any time over the last 6 mths.
13,000 people are dying per day of 'mild' omicron.
Andy - where did your 'slow and stead wins the race' mantra go? :) Now its frustration and disappointment over a lack of haste.
If results are good then SNG wont be able to meet demand for the upcoming 12 mths - whether there's a media frenzy regarding a new variant or not. We're all good.

wyndrum - Do you have a reference to the study that concludes that "Stastically (sic), trials more often fail than succeed"?
With the number of successful P2 trials that we have the results for, as well as the Activ2 progression to P3 that we don't, I believe from discussions within here and also reddit that we're in the 90% and perhaps 95%+ realm with the SPRINTER trial.
Dont forget that unlike a lot of other trials, there is zero or minimal safety risks to factor into the potential trial success.
Reverend Johnson - welcome to LSE after joining yesterday and making your very first posts.
Since you are new to these forums I'd suggest it would appear less suspicious if the following wasn't true:
1) You are a new member with no post history
2) You have posted multiple times in one day and they are all negative with regards to this share
3) You claim to be shareholder on the verge of selling up. But instead thought, I'll hold on to the shares and instead join LSE and start posting speculative theories that the share price has limited upside but a huge downside if negotiations breakdown.
So basically, you're coming across blatantly as a troll.
Amen
HPHQ I've had this debate with Andybe4 last month too. The holdings of PI investors reviewing this board will be greater than 10% of the company. It could even be a lot higher than this.
2 questions to ask yourself:
1) As a PI, where do you get regularly check to get SNG info and investor sentiment? There aren't many places other than LSE and ADVFN
2) If you were trying to influence the price of a share to get the optimal price for yourself, what other method would you use other than posting or paying others to post in these public forums?
Relax Sid. Results will be in Feb
Andy - Citadel have got it wrong in the past. It's hardly a conviction play by them if their short is dwarfed by Polygon's investment in Synairgen.
Agreed Alkin, before the end of Feb for me too
Hear hear TLWilliams.
It will be a question I hope is asked once the SPRINTER P3 Results are out. Then this question will likely carry some real weight.
It's a miniscule short position for Citadel relative to their overall portfolio - I doubt they're barely spending any resources in monitoring. Certainly compared to the focus (and investment) that Polygon have on Synairgen.
Andybe - The data was unblinded to the company in December. You are confusing yourself. The discussion regarding the 90 day questionnaire wait is with regards to keeping the P3 results announcement from creating bias in the final data capture for the last remaining trial patients. Results from 90 day data will follow the Day 35 data announcement.
So results can be announced any time now without impacting the long covid part of the trial
The ongoing transfer of shares from nervous PI's to the II's
How anyone can sell now amazes me, when we repeatedly see Polygon accumulate more and more of the company due to their confidence in the upcoming results
