Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
MrCosts - No one knows the future but professional investors work on analysis to determine potential outcomes and then the probability of those outcomes vs the reward.
Polygon wont be investing further based on "it's worth a punt as the shares seem cheap".
I would also add, that anyone that had true conviction that the SP was going to crash to 10p in the near term and was then planning to top up, would actually sell their existing 45K shares and then buy them back after the expected halving of the share price.
Otherwise it just comes across as deramping I'm afraid.
Polygon has spent millions (post Sprinter results) on accumulating more SNG shares as quickly as they can without affecting the share price. They'll be doing this based on an expectation that the SP is considerably more likely to rise from the present price rather than fall (or they would also be waiting for the 10p bargain SP day).
I’m very relaxed about my SNG investment these days. Lots of positive signals recently and plenty of cash to last until results are released.
Not long now. :)
I'd agree Doc.
Manifesto - Do you know whether Northern66 is a credible source of information (disregarding for a moment that the info came from a friend of theirs)? Have they been a good source in the past? Have you called the hotel yourself to validate?
It really needs something more tangible to spend time digging into the other company named.
179p
So you don't believe the claim about the phone call? You believe it still to be very unlikely? Or would you say its plausible now?
Almost everything on here can't be 100% validated - however you gave no consideration to the possibility that it could be true.
Manifesto - You shouldn't really be requesting apologies after this week - I'm still waiting for my apology from you after you were outraged by my post a couple of days ago - which was then confirmed.... :o)
GLA
Ravenspads - Your last few posts regarding SNG. Almost seems like you have a negative agenda?
"Consistently dropping tough on polygon"
"I reckon slightly lower also on no news just hoping I'd doesn't turn into another avacta genedrive omega novacyt abingdon"
"Somebody said nothing has changed today .wrong down,,,,,,6.9%"
Andy - Scotland is mostly missing out on this Storm. Current wind speed in Edinburgh is 20mph - in Chelmsford its 74mph.....
Thanks Floridajoe and apologies for not getting your blessing first before mentioning it on here. I genuinely thought it would help a few wavering PI’s that are on LSE to hear something positive amongst some of the noise on the board.
I hate that some people may miss out on this investment opportunity simply down to taking onboard too much misinformation and selling out in the last furlong.
Ok let this thread die now. The original poster doesn’t want this shared in a public forum.
I deliberately kept numbers and details vague. My apologies for any breach of trust with the group.
Manifesto - I don't doubt that there are some ludicrous posters stating whatever they like and using whatever numbers that first come into their heads.
In this case, the poster is credible and has proven this in the past to the group. I'll leave it at that as they've not asked that this is discussed in detail on LSE - hence my lack of any real detail to back things up on here.
Why's that Manifesto. The poster is credible and has forewarned of 6 figure share transactions to the nearest thousand of theirs in the past, that were due to appear as trades.
I dont doubt they received the phone call offer - an offer which they politely declined
At least one poster on a closed board has had a call asking if he'd like to sell in the region of £1m of their shares off market today.
Apparently enquiries like that happened before Manic Monday - seems someone wants to buy a lot more shares without raising the share price.
Andy - Slow and steady wins the race. Chill out.
Sadly, the pandemic isnt over by a long stretch. at the start of 2022 the 7 day avg global death rate was 6000 per day. It now stands at over 10,000 per day...
Andy - If we take a look at the SP this Friday and compare it to today then I'm sure your prophecy of the price sinking for SNG will look a bit daft. Unless you actually mean its trading up and down between the established support lines - in which case its very much an irrelevance.
You might be, as you stated, pi**ed off with the time its taken to announce results, but most other PI's and certainly Poly aren't.
Oft repeated and seeming oft forgotten quote by Warren Buffet “The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.”
Try not to be the former and focus more on being the latter and you will have a much less fretful day and won't need to spend so often writing monologues on LSE. It's still early 2022 and the smoke signals from SNG HQ are indicating positive results will be with us soon matey :)
MrCosts - It does raise eyebrows that you are apparently invested in SNG but most of your posts are fearful or negative. I'm really not sure why you would dig up an out of date (near 2 year old) annual report that pre-dates the fund raise that SNG successfully achieved in Q3 2020.
P3 results are all that matter at this stage. From the independent science we have seen in recent times and the successful Activ2 and P2 trials that have already been conducted we can be confident that the treatment works and the P3 trial is sufficiently powered to deliver conclusive answers .
Cash in the bank is a non-issue. There is more than enough to last until orders are placed or funding from BARDA is provided.
Take a look at Sinn Power. They are developing a solar, wind and wave power from a single modular offshore platform
