I cannot find another equity that has this kind of upside gain and downside protection. At the end of the day it is a leveraged play on the price of gold.

Surely we are building a stake in this company so that we or our beneficiaries will firstly reap the rewards of the projected growth, and secondly enjoy the income that will follow. Selling at £12 may provide you a lump of capital, but you would need somewhere to put that. The share price is a complete unknown until we have completed the drilling at Telfer, developed H and mapped out some sort of steady state production in the context of a future gold price. In my opinion, the share price could be anywhere from £12 to £48 before 2030.

Punter, a strong US dollar (USD) is generally very good for gold production in Australian dollars (AUD). This is because Australian gold miners sell their product in USD (global market price) but incur most of their operating costs (labor, fuel, equipment) in AUD. A strong USD often corresponds to a weaker AUD, which amplifies profits and boosts the Australian dollar gold price.

My broker (Freetrade) has been showing some really wild swings in price. Showing £6.08 at the moment. Can anyone explain why there might be these discrepancies?

I don't argue with the numbers and I don't pertain to be an expert. However, I don't see any discount rates applied to the figures.

Thats pretty easy to calculate:

$10k - $1500 (ASIC) = 8500 x 400kox production = US $3.4bn cash - 30% tax = $2.2bn FCF. (no Hav)

$10k - $1100 (AISC) = 8900 x 650koz production = US 5.8bn Cash - 30% Tax $4.1bn FCF (with Hav)

Sector average PE 18 could be higher (like 25)

PE of 18 = US$39bn / £29bn Mcap (No Havieron)

PE of 18 = US$73bn £58bn Mcap (with Havieron)

SP = £43/share no Havieron

SP = £83/share with Havieron.

Would love to see the calcs behind a GGP share price of £80... I want some of your gear speedy.
