If the west reduced their labour rates to the equivalent of the Chinese wage rate then I would think all western countries would be on a level playing field for being price competitive. Most manufacturing countries import some or nearly all of their raw materials from the same producers, so similar economies of scale. The main difference I see it is wages and lifestyle that western industrial populations aspire to.

By 2030 a lot of cities must be fossil free for transport, according to bbc news this morning. Which means any cars etc. must be electric or fossil free fuelled, how many vehicles travel into just a few of our cities daily. This is only 10 years from now and the only commercially available source just now is battery power, that’s a lot of batteries to be made and the car industry must get geared up for this change.

I think Trump could be re-elected as President, if Trump wins in the trade war before the elections he stands a good chance of re-election. If the trade war is still ongoing I think the majority of the U.S. voters will understand the trade deficit and rally behind Trump, as in most wars, if just, the population fall in line, even though there is hardship. The fall out for the rest of the world is that there could be cheaper goods being supplied from China and the U.S.

Cut down on production, stop production at the least viable mine, take the financial hit this year, share price goes down. Next year cobalt prices increase due to higher demand, sp goes way up, reopen mine and sell cobalt at the new price.

A few sells and the trade price not moving down?

There are 5 buyers today who are confident that the share price will move up from today’s bid price. As has been highlighted many times, no news and the sp drifts lower. The question is are they averaging down or speculating that this is the bottom or are informed that an RNS will arrive shortly. As most LTH are in deep enough, my guess is that an RNS will arrive shortly.

I bought today to average down, not unlike a few on his bb, my buy is showing as a sell. Therefore I can only assume there will be more not showing as a buy, but as all buys there must be a sell. The flip side though, I don’t know of sells being shown as buys.

Who will believe the next few RNS. Either good or bad, I think there is still some bullshit to be delivered yet. Eqtec will either come good sometime next year or it will be down the plug hole.

I mentioned in a previous post, I think Ian Price is just a puppet when it comes to Eqtec’s financial/share dealings, it will be outwith his remit and power on deciding share values, he’s just the companies face and spokesperson, day to day running and responsible for contracts. It’s the major holders and now also the lenders that are responsible for Eqtec’s value. IMO.

CEO has always said what needs to be issued to meet the criteria, for whatever reason the big players require. His last statements etc. will be what is still required. Possibly not more than a puppet. Who makes the bullets and who fires them, IMO.

Some good after hours buys in KAZ. So something is up, should be a jump first thing for glen.

Does Ireland not have good corporate tax incentives? If this is a viable reason, I would reason a merger or takeover is underfoot with substantial inflows of cash and profits. There has to be a financial reason why all the major holders are willing to see their holdings reduced and for the lenders to keep pumping money into Eqt. Salaries being paid with shares?

So what the assumption is, is that all the major share holders know something and are willing to see their holdings halved in the short to medium term.

What and when is the carrot for Altair, if the share value is going to plummet?

Eqtec have a past history of issuing RNS,s in short succession.

We all know buying shares in any company is not guaranteed, most in the footsie 100 are stable, but not on aim. If your buying to sell on a rise then it’s a gamble especially with the likes of eqtec. Aim companies you’ve got to speculate to accumulate, risk and reward simple! If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen and stop moaning.

Shares can be fickle, charts, graphs etc. can tell you a lot, but when something like this happens the shit hits the fan and down she goes, no warning. I’ve held and bought into a falling bme pre dividend expecting a pre divi rise, but no, had to hold, will now collect divi and share price goes up? go figure with no news or reason.
