I would have thought a ceo would have recruited a block caving expert onto the board.
Solg could also just have hired these specialists in.
No need for the ceo to leave his position........
The dog should be on a short leash.
I have been revisiting some RNS’s and following some info from them and have come across Deltasource.
Eqtec are listed as being partners, but I can’t find anything else about them. Does anybody have any other info regarding this partnership?
Quady, you can’t say the only people here that are hurting are people who thought there was going to be a bid. There will be many who believed this was going to production who are hurting.
I wonder if solg have been as we say “economical with the truth” with their RNS’s
If you’re in the red, it’s only when you sell that you make a loss.
After tomorrow your guaranteed the divi. Everybody should know the sp drops by the div and possibly a bit more, then there usually is peeps buying at the lower price.
If I wasn’t invested in gsk, Thursday would be my buy in day.
On checking the historic share price prior to x div. day, the Friday or Monday seems to be the day to sell, as long as you catch the high on that day. There is still the stamp duty to take into account and on a few occasions there was an immediate upward trend just after opening.
With the sp being pushed down to this low, I would be surprised to see a large drop of more than the div. (24p). I would anticipate a large drop if the sp was £16+
As one poster has already noted the sp is being moved like clockwork, especially the last 5/6 days.
I’ll be holding all my shares for this year at least.
As always dyor.
Does anybody know if there is any positives/benefit for gsk having a low share price for the eventual split?
The share price reminds me of an auction, nobody bids until it hits rock bottom.
Also, as everybody and his dog know what’s happening with solg before the pi’s as has been noted on here months ago, I can only assume all the majors who are interested in solg would have known and possibly foresee the inadequacy of the board and their decisions. I fear Solg may have to go begging at some point in the near future.
GSK surly can’t be as bad as a lot of businesses. Major oil companies at the moment and for the next year or two, the high street shops have been decimated, leisure and entertainments, travel companies. Health care will still be needed, I’m prepared to wait on a reversal.
Just my opinion, this mess has been known from the rns of 1st December. As nm is (at the time) the boss and it would have been his way only, until the AGM. From the AGM vote nm now knows how weak a position he is in and the rest of the Alpala committee now have a say in the way forward. Nm stepping down, a truthful rns stating the times of pfs etc, no bluff or bluster, but very straight forward, virtually starting from scratch, a clean slate going forward. It’s also very conspicuous that the share value has been on a constant slide from the 7th January.
Just my take on the last couple of months.
The Premier Miton UK Smaller Companies Fund focuses on companies with relatively low market capitalisations, investing primarily in AIM, Small Cap and Fledgling business. The fund aims to provide capital growth over the long-term, being five years or more.
Is this a good reason for their reduction.
Eqt. market cap going to go up.
Quady
I do hope solg can take this to production, and can wait the 5 years approx to completion to get the max value for my investment. I also think nm and the board started out with a plan A, production, and plan B, if A falters ( which they might be in the process just now ) bluff the potential buyer’s.
So solg are contributing 85% of the estimated 2.7 / 3 billion build cost?
I assume solg do not own the minerals in Ecuador, just the licenses, as long as solg stays solvent.
Can anybody tell me what or how much solg are contributing to the building of alpala mine. I’m not trying to deramp, I would assume any company offering finance would want solg to have plenty of skin involved.
If she could play football she might have been better off. Lol
Emma took charge March 2017
share price about £16.60
Drifted down to below £13 end of December 2017, possibly due to the change.
Then climbed to about £18.50 January 2020. With full knowledge of her plan to split, there wasn’t to much being said against the split as the share price was up and a good divi. being paid. Now with covid and the cycle of the sp some posters are not happy. Gsk is a divi paying investment and should be looked at in this manner.

If the judges thoughts on the claim are not fully behind Aries on the 25th.
Aries might drop the claim if they think they might lose the case. Just a thought.
Buy on the rumour, sell on news.
Can we have some more rumour’s.
Maybe a good week ahead.
