China must be thinking, what if one day they are embargoed by the west for whatever geopolitical situation. Not inconceivable. Will their supply chains hold? Strategic considerations are in play these days. Zanaga may be a "must have" as well as Simandou? Trump has sharpened these issues immensely. On paper anyway.
