Bingo. The index makes no real difference, IMO. Except costing the company substantially more wonga for main market. The sort of funds that have got involved with SOLG will not be involved with IRR at this stage anyway.
Look what ASOS, SOLG, BOOHOO etc did on AIM. Even IRR: from 10p IPO to 48p within 3 years.
The two real things you require to win on AIM are:
Regular communication
Potential
A quality bod, quality assets and small freefloat, which Ironridge have in spades, helps but as UKOG (and plenty others) continue to prove, it's not difficult to make a truckload of money without any of them.
You just can't go seven weeks without news on AIM without being punished in value. Any suggestion of over-promising and under-delivering and you'll get doubly punished. And here we are.
