Yeah, I'm with you. It was amended (90,477 instead of 90,534) rather than cancelled I think.
Clear as mud!

There was 90k sold at 21p.
Then 83k bought at 22.4p.

That's £19k in and £18.72k out.
So, unless they managed to get 7k extra shares for their £280, they lost out big time.

Also, spotted that the 50k sold today at 21.69 could easily match the 50k bought at 22.66. That would be a tasty loss too.

You'd think that people buying (or selling) large chunks would stick around more than a couple of days

Perhaps they're aware, as we are, of how undeservedly detrimental a 'duster' can be to a share price, even if other assets underpin the valuation.
Reducing their exposure at roughly market value of the transaction would make sense to me.

Course this is just speculation. Without TR1's, we're in the dark.

I've noticed less chatter recently about long grass or 36p. Hoopla.

That was my suggestion. The price was 0.725 and only 75% was locked in for six months.
Makes sense they'd wish to derisk before drill time. I wouldn't hold it against them.

No, well, there's a consistent large seller that's holding it down and, with 3.8 billion shares in issue, not a single buy in over two hours so far today.
This off the back of the lowest volume in 3 months yesterday.
The wider market isn't helping. But we're not getting 'punished' like some other companies. So that's something.

This is what I'm really excited about: The NAV on the two Cali assets far exceeds the UK drills (and isn't dependent on British weather or government approval).

Well, now, isn't that interesting?!

Any time the raise the bid to 0.75, the million+ sells come in. Probably from the Americans.
But there's not enough pressure on the ask to drop it to 0.75 (probably because any time they do the buys come in).
So, happily leaving it unattractive to both sellers and buyers.

Same tedious large seller from Thursday and Friday. About 17M dumped now.
