Every day people talk about their investments. Optimists and pessimists, realists and fantasists. Take DES for example, I dont think I have ever seen such wild and outrageous forecasts, but it is just people expressing what they feel. Now, for few posters who have made enemies, there are a very few posters who try to destroy the character by lies, disinformation, innuendo and ridicule. Do we always get things correct? No, of course we dont, look at the way top anaysts are often contradicting each other. Do we always get things wrong? No, personally I have many shares that have grown in a most satisfying way having backed my own judgement of the facts as I see them. I bought BARC at 58.74p, quite a sensible buy given the benefit of hindsight. All investors should make their own choices, be satisfied that they understand that there are risks and benefits to be weighed, and take full responsibility for their own decisions. Blame culture makes not a penny in share trading. GLA
