Markets getting a slap around the face today for sure... FTSE 3% down.

Dow futures 900 points down (3.3%).

Why are these boards only for shareholders?

IMHO the boards are here for anyone that has an interest in the stock, whether that be via a long, or short position, or even those sitting on the sidelines.

It takes all views to make a market, does it not?

Thai, I don't have a concrete view of where this will be by Xmas.

IMO there are too many macro variables at play. Demand and oil (and oil shares) could recover, or we could descend into a global recession which would tear the rear end out of the markets.

You seem to have a handle on all this, given the confidence you expressed, so perhaps you can enlighten us?

New shares being issued, but with a pre-arranged buyer, being used to close some shorts.

Direction will depend on oil and general markets, if negative, I would expect PMO SP to get slapped around a bit.

FTSE also down today, not helping stocks. Was bound to be some profit taking here and on Tullow after 2 days of 25% rises.

Bugger, could have nabbed 100 points on Brent!!
