akaM - is it really an advantage to be able to sell now? Unless of course you have to pay for some urgent medical attention it may well be that you are spared being taken to the cleaners by the market makers. Daisydog - instead of blaming management that has not even had the chance to do anything yet perhaps you should blame the shareholders who don't have the ability to think beyond the end of the week. Unless of course it is you who is selling so that you can try and get in at lower prices.

vxrandall - that's right the MMs act as a bank that pays cash for shares - trouble is they'll only give you a couple of pence if you want to sell but there is nobody who wants to buy. So if we cannot buy or sell because of our platforms have not been updated (as mine isn't yet) then those selling are getting a bad deal too. With all due respect to those involved in genuine conflict the metaphor is there is no advantage to being the first over to go into no-mans land.

Indeed compass - whilst there may be an initial valuation of 11-12M for the company now, as opposed to the essentially zero that was ascribed to the tin assets when under BMN this is now for the whole of Dawnmin (85% of Uis) PLUS the 4M of IPO capital raised so still represents a rather lowball valuation for something that may rather soon turn out to be the largest tin mine in Africa (again). This is of course the reason that we have proper institutional investors on board at the start and not the usual bucket shop types who would simply flip the shares on to private investors as soon as they are able.

That would seem to indicate that we have only seen PI buys so far today.

Another point to bear in mind is that Cassiterite (primarily SNO2) is only 78.8% Sn by weight (https://www.convertunits.com/molarmass/SnO2) Thus 1 tonne of cassiterite only contains 788Kg of Sn if you could reduce all the oxide. Thus we need to clarify what this 60% figure means - is it 60% cassiterite with 40% granite or is 60% of the weight the element Sn (so something like 80% cassiterite and 20% other stuff)

Nick surely that must be 90.8% of the equivalent Tin content price - i.e. 0.908 x 0.6 (for 60% purity) x Tin per Kg - otherwise it would cost you more to buy the concentrate and then smelt it than you can sell the ingot for. Don't know what the other impurities are but it would seem that they aren't too hard to get rid of if the cost of smelting is not so high - a couple of the advantages no doubt of tin's low Melting point (232 deg C)

Fascinating - the mine basically paid for much of the local settlement, including a 25m swimming pool. Not likely to have anyone complaining about restarting operations then... Plus the stuff on the northern side of the road looks like it could have been well worked out so maybe that side could be developed for other non-mining activities. Most of the interesting zones look like they are in the southern belt.

Bolgas, you really don't get it do you. The chinese (Rongke) are working with UET. Where do you think Gary Yang (CEO) and Liyu Li (CTO) have strong contacts. The chinese PM is talking about the UET/Rongke System that is being built in china - 800MWh - so only three orders of magnitude bigger than the silly little things you are claiming is going to change the world.

For example - "The application does not meet the requirements of Article 6 PCT, because claims 1-3, 5-9, 11-13 14, 17-23 are not clear". How good does that look for a so-called technology company - not even being able to write a patent so that 16 of the claims are not actually clear to the examiners. For heavens sake it is not that hard - I should know as I have three patents of my own.

Bolgas - great that you bought the subject of patents up - perhaps you would like to comment on why the International searching authority reported on Patent PCT/IB2016/053987 (WO2016IB53987) earlier this year that the application does not meet the criteria of Article 33(1) (PCT) because the subject matter of claims 2-5 does not involved an inventive step. I could go on as there are many other parts of the written opinion that state that the application does not meet the requirements of a PCT.
