Yep - he evidently has not idea that we are expanding from 3000 to 3750 to 5000, to 10,000 Tonnes of Vanadium per annum.

It's a pretty desperate attempt to try and troll this board, which of course has been impossible in the last few days. To be honest we are still on the way of getting back to where we should have been pre the sojitz buyout 28 x 1.25 = 35p.

AM - indeed Largo is certainly doing very well at the moment also. Maybe today we'll actually rise more than them and start catching up to where we should really be.

As a reminder Vametco's 3000 tpa Vanadium is 56% of their 5376 tonnes Vanadium produced.

Largo's Fully Diluted Enterprise Value is now about 1.9B USD (1.44B GBP)

Vametco should by rights be 800M GBP. Of this BMN owns 75% (600M GBP = 54p)

However this completely ignores anything for Brits, Imaloto, Mokopane, Afritin and of course Bushveld Energy.

Lionel - I think the point I was making that neither FM or MN opted to volunteer in 2017. I tend to agree with Sanchez in that both are really the tactician types and shy away from the PT Barnum style hokum that Musk goes in for. The VRFB community is pretty grounded and considers that in the discussions it has with its customers that the technical superiority of their product is what shines out.

The question of what a higher profile self styled 'VRFB-hero' would bring to the technology is a good one. At the October 2017 Vanitec meeting I actually put forward an alternative type of brand development given the lack of an obvious VRFB hero who wished to step forward - this was based upon VRFB's being pitched as the energy storage technology of the people, the underdog taking on the loud-mouthed but expensive Lithium-ion juggernaut as played to a 'T' by Mr Musk.

Vanitec have opted to take a slightly more conservative route with their approach, which I can understand because they need to keep everyone in the VRFB community on their side.

However I have more freedom than Vanitec, so watch this space, and contact me if you wish to get involved.

We did actually discuss at the Vanitec meeting in October 2017 whether VRFBs needed a 'Musk' champion. No conclusion was reached, which meant that a number of people thought that they did not need an entrepreneur with a big-mouth (not my words but Robert Friedland's at the mining and money conference later in the year) - anyone guess who he was talking about ?

LionelGreen - the obvious equivalent to Musk is Robert Friedland, who is also a billionaire.

Friedland is pretty much unknown outside of mining circles but inside them he is kind of the equivalent of Steve Jobs - in fact he started in business as Steve Jobs mentor. Incredible but true.

Lionel - possibly but Occams razor suggests that it is easier to conceive of a single market maker being ballsy enough to negotiate a 6M warrants supply agreement with one of their mates who works in the firm that will get to dispose of the warrants, than multiple of them somehow splitting a short between them - that would involved more complex coordination. Remember that the size of the original short leapt up to 6.2M and then stayed there from the 13th of Sept to the 18/19th - the implication is that was what Atlas had on offer

Lionel - a good question - why should one Market Maker transfer to another market maker without charging them a premium ? To answer both parts of your question a) I suspect that MM1 would not tap their warrant holder for shares unless they knew they had a ready buyer - i.e. MM2. b) yes I guess it would require a long term understanding to simply pass on the shares without charging a premium each time - simply passing on the shares at cost price makes the paperwork simple and I suspect that there is some other form of recompense for the overall arrangement but have no idea what that might be.
