faramog - it would be nice to retain a bit of diversity in the VRFB marketplace - just to retain a little healthy competition. Remember BMN and BE would like to see loads of VRFB manufacturers, all going hell for leather getting VRFBs out and into the field. It does not help us to reduce the customer choice. Suggestions of lower cost through volume would is perhaps unjustifiable on the basis of loss of competitive pricing pressures.

Pigpen70 - I had to laugh when I saw your comment as I have said the same on more than one occasion. I guess it is just one of those things that JM must endure to justify his salary. We all have our crosses to bear I suppose.

Squirty et al - I wonder if BMN may have been approached to buy a few shares to keep RedT ticking over. It is not inconceivable.

Mrremmy - the BMN grades are described as the percentage of V2O5 in magnetite. The magnetite is easily separable via low field magnetic separation and as it only constitutes about 30% of the overall rock you immediately get that level of concentration. Not all Vanadium resources are in magnetite - eg King River Copper and Aura energy, but all those that are currently producing (Largo, Rhovan, Vametco) are.

Headancer - have you not seen any of the recent trades analysis that is on the Bushveld Perspective - this makes it as clear as I possibly can.

Oh I thought everyone knew - it is all on Twitter and I had other LTHs telephone me with the news that there is some kind of high level government visit at Vametco today. This hot on the heels that the minister of energy chose to step in and will be giving the keynote address at the SA energy storage conference later this month. The SA government looks to be really getting behind us.

The suits visiting Vametco today might just help put that on the map

SOTRR that would be good but would the bbc even get it. As far as they are concerned it is just a miner pushing his mine of a metal that none of their editorial team will have ever heard of. We need a proper approach to pitch this as the thing that we know it is - which is perhaps the best opportunity that SA and the VRFB industry has of bringing reliable battery storage to the RE sector.

BBN I too was looking at the plan of the proposed facility - there is of course space for 6 electrolyte production units rather than the 4 currently shown. Also it is not clear to me if the flow volumes tabled are for just one of the production cells or all 4.

Daisan - this is not First Island selling - they did so in quite a controlled fashion - I was shown the RSP displays realtime and it was clear that the 250K share blocks were only dropped once there were buyers ready. As explained in yesterday's trading analysis these coincided with the duplicate trade pairs and only started around the 17th of September.
