That's exactly how it works when the Market Makers are shorting you. It was was happened during the strike also.

They are counting on continued selling and running out of buyers. They, however are running out of time.

If I had really put my mind to it then naturally I would have suggested that London could be the centre of the worldwide CryptoVanadium Exchange.

I feel your pain carp fisher but we've only really started the journey and haven't even had the chance to post a year's accounts yet that show a profit. The situation will be very different in 12-24 months time. I think there is very little chance or point of delisting from AIM, unless it is to move up to the main market. London is the centre of the world mining and metals markets - it is one of the reasons why Vanitec have their meeting now and in London, as it coincides with London Metals Week. Who knows perhaps London will also become the centre of the world's Vanadium Electrolyte exchange.

Clark - yes we had a quick catch up over lunch. I told him about some of the longer term plans to enhance the bushveld perspective and he was very supportive. Also he was very keen to hear that this board is amongst the most popular on the lse system (well it has at least got the two most recommended posters) which he wasn't previously aware of. I fed back some of the opinions that have been expressed in the board regarding the strike, vanadium prices and their vanadium 101 seminar earlier in the year. All useful engagement.

MTB - well I'm surprised that the FT did not pick up on yesterday's shock revelation that the company is worth perhaps 3p more than previously thought.

It is worth repeating:-

Put in another way: It’s tough to scale up a lithium-ion system. If you double the size, you double the cost. Not so with vanadium: All you have to do is make the tank bigger, and the bigger the scale the lower the (per MWh) cost.

For those who might be wondering whether UBM’s Wray Mesa Project 2.7 million pounds of contained vanadium is a lot or not it is equivalent to 1.230 kiloTonnes of contained Vanadium.

Vametco is 1080 kilotonnes - so almost 900 times larger. Brits is about the same as that. Mokopane is about double both of them put together.

If you want (need) Vanadium you have to come to the Bushveld.

mitch - it's a little bit of a battery - some nanowires that they think might be used in an electrode. It is not even a battery, let alone something that even has a chance of being commercially viable.

Really VanadiumCorp deserve a jolly big rap over the knuckles for this nonsense.

I am not convinced by this tweet - I can find absolutely no reference to the article suggested and the author list is identical to another article published in that journal 3 weeks ago with the title:-

There is zero mention of Vanadium in anything that I can see for free.

I'm afraid that this looks like a fake.

Endion - indeed all trades are both buys and sells but it is conventional to refer to the type in relation to a private investor - i.e. a PI Buys from a Market Maker or a PI Sells to a Market Maker.

UT trades because they happen during auctions are for market participants with Direct Market Access - and the trade may be between two of these sorts or one of them and a Market Maker, who I am confident are permitted to get involved in the auctions should they so wish. Thus classifying a UT trade as a Buy or Sell is very hard - and perhaps meainginless if the trade is DMA1->DMA2 as opposed to DMA1->MM1.

I tend to ignore UT trades when calculating the nett Market Maker trading position unless I have watched the auction and can see that it was a trade to or from a specific MM.

I hope you got paid as it seems your previous employer just went bust.
