Cowboy - Mr Remmy is correct, Vsun are essentially just a distributor for other people's batteries: RedT, Cellcube/Enerox etc. Vsun is to AVL what BE is to BMN except AVL doesn't have a Vanadium processing plant and BMN has two.

Ipso Facto if VSun were to disappear tomorrow it might have limited impact on the worldwide uptake of VRFBs. Not that I am suggesting it will, and I am more than happy to have Vsun sell the VRFBs from the manufacturers we work for, but BMN has little need to purchase AVL or Vsun and will not do so.

RK - my only concern is that BMN will not be able to produce enough Vanadium to keep up with the inevitable demand for VRFB energy storage. 10,000 tpa is perhaps only going to be enough for 2GWh each year- this may yield 600M revenue each year from electrolyte sales but the world is going to need a lot more than this in terms of stationary energy storage.

you got it gaz - it's what happens when they don't mine any Vanadium in their country - they start referring to the metal as 'exotic' and 'rare' which is ill-advised because there is more Vanadium on the planet than there is Zinc, Chrome, Nickel and Copper.

We currently mine Vanadium at 1/500th the rate that we mine copper. That is why Vanadium mines are all rather simple open cast affairs whilst copper ones they need to go searching for it in deep underground veins.

Going forward there is even more point in focussing on the fundamentals, because they are what people are really here for. Anybody looking to get trading tips can self-isolate.

Sanchez - are you suggesting that now is the time to buy Bushveld shares just at the point that they have been seemingly devalued to around half of the value we were before we had acquired the Vanchem plant, announced the Mokopane license or plans to tie in with 3 of the world's leads VRFB companies ?
