I have an uncanny knack of buying on the very peak too, and although it would have been nice to have made a quick buck here and have walked away, LND looks well worth holding for the longer term, with 50p seemingly a conservative target for the end of the year. They'll be 40p lower come Monday no doubt, but a sudden sp rise has lured me back in (at 474). I think Q1 results are due soon too, so hopefully scope for a return to the mid 500s. Already up to 476-482 :)

Thinking the same thing, offer now 475, my previous buy at 486 yielded a 10+% in short order, albeit via a -10% first, so undecided whether they have further to fall.

I've done a little bit of research and it looks worth a punt; I'm in. The article below is worth a read, the last sentence in particular; On Friday 5th May, the market suddenly woke up to the fact that Landore Resources has a tidy bit of nickel stashed away at its Junior Lake property in Ontario. During a week which saw the start of the bidding war between Norilsk and Xstrata for LionOre, which saw AIM-listed nickel laterite producers and explorers rise to astonishing heights, and which saw nickel go through the $50,000 per tonne mark without stopping, Landore’s AGM had passed by virtually without comment. Yet it’s a fact that this nickel exploration junior – run by Brancote stalwarts Bill Humphries and Richard Prickett - has established an NI 43-101 compliant resource at the VW Zone at Junior Lake worth $730 million in-situ at today’s prices. At the adjacent B47 Zone, exploration has defined resource potential worth a further $500 – 700 million at today’s prices. That’s at least $1.2 billion in current defined and potential in-situ resources – versus a market cap of only £18 million. Nearing my original buys at 1115.5 and 1080 from last month; I may not be able to stop myself if it gets back there!! Curious the continued downward movement, we've had the move to a full listing, last week's RNS seemed positive, there is prospect of a move to the FTSE 250 and most (all?) commentators seem to think the regulator issues will be resolved, yet the sp continues to slide. Tempted to buy every time there is a little bounce, but have resisted so far and the next time I check it's lower, so yes, agreed, one to watch for now.

They are indeed and they ease, if not remove, the concern that the big recent seller knows something that we don't. I'm in.

It was an interesting dream; there were all these 5p coins flooding out of a well and I was dancing around underneath...then it started snowing!! There is good reason to be sceptical and as a holder I am of course wearing my rose-tinted spectacles – but the fact that even holders are sceptical is a sign of the negative sentiment in the current sp and how if the newsflow can turn positive, or even a lack of negative, just how much upside there can be.

Research Report BLR have published a research report on their website today, complied by an independent company, although commissioned by BLR themselves; http://www.blackrockoil.com/investor/broker/020507_vsa.pdf Makes for interesting reading, giving a nice summary of the company's current projects and prospects for the future. Although there is mention that they will need to "raise funds over the next six months", the asset valuations support a sp in multiples of today. It seems to have stoked up some good buying and a welcome rise in the sp. I'd love to buy more myself, but I'm already very much overweight. It looks like there will be plenty of newsflow on the various projects from now on, so could be a short, medium or long term play. Although there is plenty of risk and BLR's past record isn't stellar, it's a good portfolio of assets, of which some surely are going to come good; personally I'm thinking/dreaming Christmas and at least 5p. PS That's 5p per share, not for my whole holding!!

I've found my money and sense have aligned over time – I won't be investing in SKP, but I'll make no comment on whether that is due to sense or money!!

I don't want to risk losing my profits, so haven't felt compelled to buy back in so far. With hindsight I should have held Monday, but profits are too precious to watch slip away! I thought IEC were very proactive last week in the way they arranged the meeting and updated the market so quickly, but that also concerns me now that they have been quiet since, might have we expected them to RNS to confirm the market move if it wasn't in doubt? I'd still be a buyer on either good or bad news here; there is still plenty of upside on good news and any bad news may see an opportunity sub 1100 again. Good luck Davius and anyone holding, but I'm just watching for now.

So disappointed to see the fall this morning; it was down to about 1250 when I got into the office, and expecting them to bounce back, then I sat and watched them fall until I bailed at 1210, still a profit of almost 11%, but it could have been so much more. I was so happy when I saw Friday's performance as well. Damn!! It seems to have settled now in the 1200-1210 bracket. The Times reports "Imperial Energy poised to delay stock exchange move", which would explain the fall. Well played Davius, above 1300 would have been perfect, but 1246 still pretty good. Where from here? – I'm not sure I'd be back in above 1100, certainly if their market move isn't going to happen.

That I'm only just in profit, but hopefully a lot more to come tomorrow and next week, I'm on a T20, so can wait this one out if necessary. I could probably have played it a bit better (as others have shown today – well done guys!), got in a bit too soon, which I almost always do, but never mind. An early end to the trading week for me, as I'm out of the office tomorrow, but it's been a good week and (tax) year, with 10+% on each of CHP, SOLA and IEC so far (and no losses, yet...), so I'm not going to grumble! TAN looking good today, so may deliver for me next week too :)

Nice work, Glue. It is ridiculously easy sometimes, but I've had many a dark day too and am only too aware it isn't always this way! I'm only on 5% gross at the current 1135 bid, so I'll be holding out for more. I'm targeting 1210 and might hold beyond today, but I'm not in the office tomorrow, so I'll have to see...

Looks like the RNS has stopped the fall, probably time to get in, if not in already. No bounce yet though, showing 1016-1025.

Yes, I'm back in - 1080 this time, again on a T20. The steepness of the fall is worrying me though and as I type it is already down to 1030-1032... Looks like we're in for another wild ride!!

Which is a surprise, maybe some more profit taking and people still reacting to yesterday's news. Have to say I'd be interested in another go if it gets back to my original buy price (1115.5). The general view is this will blow over, although there is still a lot of downside otherwise, as the recent rises were based on the very reserves that are questioned. Currently 1175-1177. Watching and waiting...

That was fun, got out at 1265p, just over 12% after costs in a couple of hours...have to say I love the market on days like this!! I needn't have bothered with the T20 though, I'll have to wait a month for my profits now! It was indeed difficult to trade, I couldn't get a firm price on either buying or selling. I was able to fill or kill on the sale, but on the buy, as I wanted a T20, I had to place a market order, which I don't really like doing in case I end up with a rubbish price, but it was ok, although difficult to judge with the price moving so much – I guess I shouldn't complain whatever. They may well go higher again tomorrow, but I'm a big fan of taking profits, especially when they have come this easily :)

I feel bad you missed out though, although I see JSP has been kind to you today – I was kicking myself this morning for not buying some yesterday, but not too bothered now! Showing 1282-1289 currently – I was going to target 1250, so I'll probably be out this afternoon, but these could well go all the way back to 1500 in time.
