Higher NG gas need to be far reaching in time for DEC to strike future hedged prices, since it is locked in hedge contract for the coming years (3 as a minimum).

The share price is still incredibly sluggish, I hope we will see better days soon. I hope after a trade update, hopefully before Christmas.

The market is so cheap. where can you find a company posting a £1b PBT and virtually no debt valued at £7b.

Marklee1 possibly some deal fell through, since Rusty stated that in the current environment of high interest rates it is more challenging to pull a reasonable deal. A new deal may come in the way in the months to come. The important now is to steady the ship. However this doesn't seem to be happening, at least in terms of buybacks or even sizable director deals. DD's of the past days were short of laughable.

After the drop Foot Locker is in a similar PE range as JD. NIke's PE is huge compared to JD.

Interestingly Nike's Revenue is 5x JD's revenue - If we see JD as a potential multi-bagger, it would have to become half the size on Nike, and that's incredibly big for a brand not comparable at all to Nike. Still it feels there is enormous potential for expansion for JD! Time will tell but I am bullish on JD and their ambitious plan.

Trader76 - Just got mine, with 30% deduction, despite having completed the W8 form. Barclays is such a heavy cross. Their app suck on so many levels. I got charged stamp duty on this one plus 30% withholding tax.

I shall move to another broker. They are a waste of time, I can't spend half of the morning on the phone with them discussing the obvious. Not even an email address to contact them regarding issues related to their Stocks and Shares ISA.

Broom I doubt BB are for supporting the SP , rather to make long term financial gains in the company accounts (and indirectly return higher value to shareholders).

BB have stopped for a couple of days, definitely there is no intention to take advantage of the drop or perhaps, not that much cash to splash on BB.

Cruusoen What a disgrace to pay shareholders a return. If shareholders were not supposed to make a profit we could well move to a communist country to enjoy the thriving economy and wellbeing.

Thanks, that is true, I did not pay stamp duty to buy DEC with IG however I paid stamp duty with Barclays.

I don't understand why IG is getting this petty suspending my account. I think they want to force their customers to "subscribe" the SA every year to elicit them to fund only the ISA the customers have with them, rather than funding accounts with other brokers.

I wonder if anyone here can help me. I tried to open a small position with DEC (after having sold my entire holding a few days ago around this same price).

I got this error message "SORRY. You are currently restricted from opening any new positions on your account."

The customer service emailed me:

"Your ISA account has been suspended due to lack of funding in the previous tax year. We can reactivate the ISA account for you, please find attached the ISA reactivation form. Please fill in the details and mention the share dealing account ID."

The above mentioned form is the "APPLICATION TO OPEN A STOCKS AND SHARES ISA".

I already opened a stocks and share with another bank in this tax year.

Is it normal that a broker suspends your ISA because it was not funded in the current tax year? Is it lawful for IG to suspend my account and force me to sign an application form to open a stocks and shares ISA to reactivate my account?
