If only 90% of people in the UK take the vaccine that will leave millions unvaccinated then of those vaccinated 10% of them it won't work on so we feasibly have more than 10m ppl in the UK who will need testing to prove they can go to events etc... if they don't then is there a risk the virus will spread amongst them and mutate to a point where it can infect even those with the antibodies thereby putting us back to square one.

Of course we'll need LFT's at the borders permanently and then it's likely in my view we'll distribute abroad. I see a couple years of being under pressure to deliver hundred million + tests a year from Alva

Hi all, anyone know what percentage of people need to be vaccinated or have antibodies before the UK can achieve herd immunuty? I think it's something like 60% but could be wrong.

I can see odx selling 2m lfts per week until at least this point, potentually a lot longer but then we need to be making moves to sell abroad. Colin & the team really should be working on and publishing an international strategy otherwise the levels of profits we'll see this year could be a one off which would out an anchor on our PE ratio, what do you think?

Other countries are developing their own lfts, it's not as if the whole world are sat idle waiting for Britain to produce an LFT.

How much of that is priced in as well at that level? I don't see how the IP is worth £700 million so must be relying on P/E ratio but what it is, is anybodies guess right now as avct not hot on reporting financials

Why would gov not take the full 104m capacity off omega. If it is just for 75m tests as some have said. They had first refusal on that capacity so if they haven't taken it, what does that mean?

I think the antibody tests will come into their own when it comes to travel. If you've had a vaccine would you want to know if you and your family have antibodies before travelling to a place where the vaccine rollout is way behind the UK's i.e. almost anywhere else in the world ?

Seems to be pent up demand for travel and last thing you want to do is be poorly on holiday so that leads to one conclusion.

One needs to think, if the RNS isn't released today (and it could well be released either intra day or after hours) then we don't know when it will be released.

On average these contracts are 17 days late & what we do know is that it WILL be released therfore very dangerous to be out of this stock over the next month in my honest opinion.

This should provide some sticky hands and a good base to build our share price from on a technical basis anyway.

11th Feb it was confirmed odx will be contracted to supply HMG with tests

5th March - £8Bn tender for purchase of LFT released

So does that mean we can expect volumes released by 11th March & financials associated with that by 5th April or will all the details be released in one RNS and if so would that be by the 11th March or 5th April?

I am a little confused what to expect and when is all.

I've obviously upset a few by pointing out the obvious technical analysis.

If odx was in a downtrend i would also expext it to gap fill but it is not, it is in an uptrend which changes things.

People are in love here and can't see what's starring them in the face. I'm not saying this is a dog or its got no future etc i am just saying it is in a downtrend, has now passed the crucial 61.8% fib level and there's a gap to fill not far below that. All those things are facts. Whether it comes to fruition or not remains to be seen i am just pointing it out
