Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
C909 some good points, a bit negative but I get it. If like me you’ve lost money every right to be negative.
Eqtec is currently valued at more than it’s worth on paper. How do you value potential because it’s really not factored in. That’s because gasification is yet to be commercially proven.
What was exciting this year was the comment from seps director saying results from uni of Lorraine were very exciting and have convinced seps to commit to working.
I believe eqtec have the foundations in place , they can take as long as they need, because their game plan is to prove it works.
They are confident it works so are building infrastructure, at the same time developing the foundations at a steady pace. You recall they have almost taken billingham off the table.
The development is in partnerships like wood group etc
It’s coming together, yes it takes money but I believe stages of how it comes together will hopefully provide the funds they need

I asked some genuine questions you've not answered.
If charting works and you are good at it, why charge to teach others. Why not share you skills and make some peoe some money.
Share your portfolio, highlight your gains, your route to market is proving your skills
Ha ha still on this
Given the share price today, it is incredibly unlikely that the lender would look to forward sell on any future drawdown. I'm not overly familiar with this practise, but they'd have got or will get up to 500m shares which is circa 6%, so 250m shares wouldn't cause an rns.
How do you drive it down from 0.8p and really benefit more than 12.5% by getting the share price up.
Also future selling is scorned upon.
I think the glass is half full........ The position of eqtec is potentially phonominal......
I think the lender wants the bonus not to drive price down
Everyone talking about share price today and what's going to happen in 5 months
If the share hits 3p the lender gets £1.25m
Why does anyone thing there is a bonus based on share performance, and yet talking about share price bombing
Not gonna happen IMO
Swazzers
Some serious questions if I may
Charting is the skill of finding patterns in stock movements. I'm sure, the bigger the firm, the higher the value, charting offers some real insight to how the share moves. What really puzzles me and one of the reasons you appear to have zero credibility on here is the fact that this and any other small company has huge volatility. This share could double in price tomorrow and no chart on earth is going to show you that.
Or does it?
Similarly this share could half tomorrow and your charts won't show that either.
Or does it?
Your charts may and I reiterate may give a market consensus of appetite for the share on a particular run of form. So for example the last month or so has been up and down say 30%, so did you chart this before it happened?
But the reality is eqtec is a company with a proven technology that the world is in the early stages of adopting, so in other words to get the best returns anyone who is interested needs to buy the share and hold on to it. Because one day the news will land and the profits will be banked before you can click your mouse.
In my opinion charting has its place, but not with small highly volatile, low value companies with billions of shares in circulation. You will never call the date this share takes off or plummets and anything else is just noise
Highly volatile share
Potential to move in any direction at any time
You can't time the market
So many comments on here recently regarding the impending failure of eqtec.
The Company has gone from 5/6 projects to over 20. They boast a pipeline they can't keep up with.
But clearly they don't have enough money to do what they need.
This isn't to say they are looking down the barrel of a gun. In fact we don't know what it means.
We know staff have grown substantially, we know projects have grown substantially, we are expecting news to show revenue grew substantially last year, either be invested or don't be invested but stop ramping and deramping. Talk about what's known and don't listen to anyone telling you what they think, act on what you think.
Many a good firm took a long while before making a profit.... Eqtec provides lots of solutions to world problems...... Success or failure won't be a result of what you or I read on here
So much good news, and yet the price sticks... For now. I get the feeling there are so many conversations taking place that BOD can hardly say anything other than, this is the structure we are working to, without giving something away, and as DP said once the penny drops, the value of eqtec will surge. They talk about a time with 1000's of plants and exponential growth.
Incineration around the world being realised for what it is and gasification now being recognised as no 1 solution...... Watch this space.
I expect some write ups over the weekend based on what we saw this week. Very positive on the long term of this share, when that share price will start to move is anyone's guess.... But I for one believe we will see a remarkable return over the next 2 years here.
Do you just look at patterns for how you think I might continue in the next few days or do you read any company info
I suppose there is something in patterns I used to love spirograph as a kid, they should bring that back, it might improve these sketches you keep putting up
Cb you were right, you old dog, you knew all along, you told us and we didn't listen. I've learned my lesson, what's it going to do next, because what you say goes.... Shall I sell them now, or just hold them. What does the future look like Cb............. The buy high sell low method of investing isn't working for me
As the year ends, Eqtec remains one of the standout companies with significant growth potential as governments embrace sustainable energy sources, which the company produces.
Eqtec shares may not be for everyone but could be the perfect opportunity for those patient investors with long term investment horizons.
Martinu I'm happy to concede on the mathematics.... I do think we are around £5.5m to date..... But again I'm no expert in such matters. As you say I was just hoping to give us an indication of progress

They had €500k at six months
FC Italy €1,750,000
Fc Croatia €3,100,000
This 239% or roughly there abouts. Do you need me to tell you what last year's revenue was as well. (I'VE MADE A NOTE AT THE END TO SAVE YOU LOOKING IT UP)
I wonder what it is about English language you don't understand.
Judging by your comments I've added a definition of forecast for you below
Business forecasting is the process of predicting future developments in business based on analysis of trends in past and present data.
And to make it really easy for you I've also got you a definition of predicting below for ease
A prediction, or forecast, is a statement about a future event or data. They are often, but not always, based upon experience or knowledge.
And just for absolute clarity Cav (can I call you Cav)
This is exactly what the company said
The Company remains on track to achieve its previously stated 2021 revenue forecast of approximately €15 million, assuming timely closure of EQTEC projects as planned. This would represent a 700% increase in revenue over the €2.2 million in revenue delivered in 2020.
As we all know eqtec are expecting 700%+ of 2020 revenue, and we are all told back end loaded.
17 projects on the go globally, new partner to work with.
Everyone is so determined in their own opinions (and why not it belongs to you after all) but ultimately facts are facts.
Eqtec does seem to have been hurt by some consistent large selling. Janus sold around the time of the litigation and I believe GM has been selling since his departure. The reason for Janus was undoubtedly profit taking, and didn't they do well. And GM told us he needed money for tax purposes on his first sell as a director leading everyone to assume that if he wanted to buy his 67m Warren's at 0.67p he needed to x amount of millions at 1.3- 1.5p. So who on here wouldn't do that.
So when you combine effectively 12 months of consistent selling with almost 12 months of, what people refer to as "jam tomorrow" or as I refer to as back end, potentially dare I say it (covid related) delays,we find ourselves here.
239% increase in revenue not 700+ and 3 weeks to go to shutdown.
Incidentally we don't know what else has banked.
There has been other activities in greece, USA, UK, Ireland, France I believe, Spain, Croatia and Italy. Bulgaria has been discussed along with Asia and Australia.
But with deeside and Billingham both potentially ready I wouldn't say hitting 700+%revenue for this year was off the table.
I also wouldn't count on 700%+ being the definite figure to give us profitability, who is to say 500%+ wouldn't achieve that (potentially a delay in revenue may be accompanied by a delay in expenditure too)
However the fact remains forecast €15m this year and I believe €68m next year (wasn't this increased due to delays and contract changes this year)
The share price will ultimately increase.
For all intense and purposes we are still £100m+ company doing £2m revenue...... When that changes so will the value of your shares. Trade in trade out and do what you need to do.
The fact is the projects are in play, they are big value projects and we have gone from 3/4 to 17 this year.
When they are a bit further along, the money for development will all be invoiced and hopefully the technology can be licensed under Wood Group for instalation on all their gasification projects..... How many is that..... That's the proper Jam..... When 10/20 sites are signed up in 1 go....
Good luck all.....
