My previous post inferring manipulation comes true. Usually I hate that, but Gatemore added 2.+ percent. They saved us form the dogs, so fair play. I accept. Sorry for those that bailed at a loss, but time and time again you see that 'slow and steady' wins the race. Don't chase shadows. Don't over exert your means. That is true whether 100 quid or a million. You can still get royally..... Good luck everybody. This is not a lucky share. It's a business with revenue, costs and employees. Sense will prevail.
Great News. No more low ball offers. They can be fended off by Gatemore. Staff can settle down in all the uncertainty. Management can deliver. Despite being at an average of 21.9 I would buy more if funds permitted. If you are watching from the sidelines, I wish I could buy at under 10p. Get in! This ain't going down, that's a certainty. (Subject to all usual disclaimers!)
Nobody will have ever bough cheaper so any sells must be borne of frustration or need. Gatemore saw off Menzies low ball offer, which was upped. Talks ended when Menzies couldn't meet a fair price. Unless you think the Company will go bust. HOLD. DYOR
Based on what? Buys outnumbering sells 15:1. Total manipulation.
...when the re-rate occurs, which it will. Unfortunately I have to buy a house so all funds into the deposit. Dammit. 20M Market Cap?
They must have heard me :) This Co. could be huge.
I can understand waiting for Menzies to post their interim results. Now done, so come on DX. Let's get trading again! This week!
Will be up end of day. Still hate the manipulation, as the rest of my holding goes down. Great day to buy in.
I expect this on AIM but not on the Main Market with a multi-billion dollar company. Nearly GBP 2 down today on just one Broker opinion. No buys or sells to give that reaction. Biggest visible trade is under GBP 20k. More than likely a PI. I will now research the Broker to see just how accurate their opinions are. Anybody know how shorting activity is on Next? I wouldn't short at these levels.
Is a joke here. Portrays the Company as an AIM play subject to MM games. I believe it to be a quality company with a great future, so they should start to support those perceptions.
So even Menzies realised the mechanism didn't value the Company properly, reminded by Gatemore regularly I imagine! So let's get trading, as I don't read it as terrible news. They can't wait until Annual Results. That is OCTOBER!
Not sure if that is good or bad!
I wonder if that will provoke an RNS from either Menzies or DX?
You won't see Next below 45 GBP in 2018. The baseline of support was around 68 GBP. That was Baseline! Not peak. A good recovery play imho. DYOR.
But has been a powerhouse in the past, and if you believe in the Co, now is a good entry point. The High Street (albeit Shopping Malls these days), is part of UK life. The Divi gets paid next week, so I imagine a few are moving out/slicing etc. today. A good entry point to be in place for Q3/Q4.
"In light of feedback received from certain Monitise Shareholders, Fiserv requested that the Board of Monitise seek the permission of the Court to postpone the Court Meeting to allow for further discussions with these shareholders". So: 1. These are shareholders that are not part of Nominee Holdings. i.e BIG. Does anybody know who they are? 2. They clearly have not said 'YES", so as a minimum, further discussions will be held. I read that as "Takeover will not be supported at the price we have proposed, and the shareholdings are significant enough that we need to talk". Concerned that the Board then reiterated it's support of the offer. Why wouldn't you just leave the topic alone and await the outcome of the so called, discussions?
Buy on the dips! This is only going one way, so make use of every opportunity. Any news on the Met Police Burgmann trials? Can't be far away.
