I'd like to think that is the case too Sambo but judging how mono paced this government is I wouldn't hang my hat on it.The government is clearly delaying the pipeline construction for some reason whether is money or monies making its way into the right hands....who knows.Hopefully we see progress sooner rather than later
RE: 3 months since license granted23 Dec 2024 15:44
Hopefully election year will spur a fury of works .... presidents change.... Tanzania doesn't....2 paces,,, slow and stop. This time next year rodders.... happy Christmas all
Pretty sad state of affairs we are in ... another Christmas and sweet f-all to show operational wise....why are we not seeing any progress since we got the licence nearly 6 months ago? I don't doubt the pipeline will go ahead and we will get a drill my concern is when ....what's another year??? And another....and another...24.5 years left
Word of shovels breaking earth for the pipeline would be great.unfortunately nothing in Tanzania runs on time....all the talk of early progression and early revenues now looks very faint indeed ... revenues will be July at the earliest at this rate
Kpatel22 ...I love your positivity. The difference with the next six months is 2025 is an election year and they will want to show domestically and internationally they can get it done. That will also put pressure publicly on the majors to progress the LNG negotiations
