So glad I did the research and ignored the noise! Congratulations everyone and roll on 2021!
Dsaf, it certainly points to how easy it would be to do at home but noted the following caveat under the video from Abingdon:

For professional use only --- Watch this video to the end to learn how to use AbC-19 Rapid Test, a COVID-19 rapid antibody test. By following the simple 5 step process in this video, professionals can use AbC-19 Rapid Test to detect COVID-19 antibodies in 20 minutes.
AbC-19 Rapid Test uses lateral flow immunoassay technology for the detection of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19) in 20 minutes. Only a finger prick of blood is needed to produce a positive or negative result. The test can be used by anyone without training.
The Covid-19 rapid antibody test, developed by Abingdon Health, the lead in the UK-Rapid Test Consortium (UK-RTC), is CE marked for professional use in the UK and EU.
In fairness, Dante look like quite an impressive set up. Why the Government have gone down this route when we have home grown products is not particularly clear to me.
Agree with you MaryMullins.
Will we ever really quite know what happened? Not at all where I thought we'd be today considering the CPR figures previously reported and the difference between the two is the difference between night and day. I lost some money but thank God not as much as I would have if I hadn't diversified last September. If anything, I have to think Hurricane for a hard lesson in AIM stocks - bank your profits!
Have to say I find this company quite difficult to judge. I ended up selling out completely to buy into ODX a few months ago.
That said, I wonder if this is what Kissei were waiting for and if this may have contributed to delays as without doubt Covid will have.

Couldn't agree more Pilgrim1, if anything it just shows how quickly this will move on news. Hilarious nonetheless!
"Omega (AIM: ODX), the medical diagnostics company focused on CD4, infectious diseases and food intolerance, notes the statement made by BBI Solutions Limited earlier today regarding an order from the UK Government and successful independent evaluations in relation to the AbC-19™ test developed by the UK-RTC. This was released by BBI in error and contained incorrect information. The statement has been withdrawn by BBI and should be disregarded. Any future updates on potential UK Government orders or the outcome of independent evaluations will be disclosed to shareholders once these are concluded."

Agree, early days really. Again everything you say is perfectly reasonable and rational, my concern is our Government don't always appear to make the reasonable and rational decision! Seriously, would hope you're correct as I'm counting on my investment paying off long term!

Your answer is perfectly rational, but will the Government actually follow through on its promises? I don't trust them either and that's my only concern here is that they'll weasel out of this somehow or justify lowering their commitment / spend to spread cost.
More balanced article in Energy Voice, imo. https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/north-sea/244376/ceo-exit-a-big-blow-for-hurricane/
Also note the US appears to be heading into recession right about now and oil I'm afraid does not do well in a recession.
"Mr Kelty said: “I guess with the tough times following first oil last year coupled with the double whammy of Covid-19 and low oil prices have forced the board to do something.
“It’s sadly not uncommon in exploration and production companies to see the management changed on back of tough times and rarely it works.
“I still think Mr Trice has proven the sceptics wrong as it’s clear basement reservoirs do work, and there aren’t many companies that have found resources on the scale of Hurricane – so he can walk away with his head held high.”
Anish Kapadia, research analyst at Hannam & Partners, said the changing of the guard at Hurricane made sense.
Mr Kapadia said: “The exit of CEO Robert Trice follows a somewhat disappointing recent operational performance, but this came after successfully executing a pioneering development over a period of weak oil prices in a harsh environment, achieving first production on time and on budget."
Yes, I left at 13p or so and regained some losses in Avacta, Omega Diagnostics and Genedrive = all Covid shares, which still have a lot of run from 60p to £5 ... in the next few years.
Please DYOR, but some real opportunities here.

"I'm afraid that when I'm left here, relating to youngster posters the vicissitudes since 2014, it will feel like a veteran of World War Two trying to explain to today's youth which side our country was on."
It may be so, but nevertheless those who watched the Aoka Mizu valiantly navigate her way from Dubai to the safety of the Shetlands and her final mooring place will remember these times fondly I hope. I've made very little out of this financially but as my first investment have learnt a great deal which I hope will stand me in good stead for the future (still much to be learnt!) - may this somehow be worth £10 a share one day!
Longwait, Genghis, et al, good luck in this sea of piranhas, a lot of new posters I note.

I'm sorry things are where they are, wishing you good luck and god speed on your journey where ere you go. I sense a fellow spirit in some ways (possibly not others - I'm rubbish at maths and cards is not my forum) nevertheless, you bring some light and poetry and I respect that.
