On another thread I said that I look at who is on the board before I invest in companies as I've had my fingers burnt by a couple of rogues. On that basis, Cellular is a no brainer.

I doubt any firm would let you sell before the stock is in your account. If your broker is anything like mine, they won't guarantee when they will credit your account either

Deagle, plenty of us have done similar.

It really is stressful knowing what to do. Probably even more so than when you've backed a donkey, and I've got plenty of experience.

I'd love this to work out as I've been sitting on a 98% loss for ages, but I genuinely don't want new investors to get shafted by this dubious company just by sticking the word Blockchain on the equity raise.

I'm not saying that the company are misleading anyone with the equity raise document, but:

51.6 million new shares is 4 times as many as there are today. The document clearly states that there will be 64 million shares after the placing.

This site shows that there are currently 1.2 BILLION shares. This is incorrect as the had a one for 100 consolidation a while back.

The current market cap is therefore only about £9 million, so the dilution will slash the share price.

I totally agree. Poulden is one of the reasons I advise new investors to look at the board before they Invest in small companies. I got burnt by PCGE, which morphed into this.

I saw this had woken up after ages in the doldrums, but wasn't at all surprised to see yet another placing.

If you've invested, don't take your eyes off this as you may regret it.

This trades on Aquis exchange, so only phone trading, whoever you use.

Someone tipped KR1 a few weeks ago and when I saw it was on the same Mickey Mouse looking exchange as this and another donkey I own, I turned it down. C'est la vie...

Barmancy, your header raises an important point - the future

Blockchain tech is so much more than Bitcoin. I have no doubt that PW and the team have plenty of plans to diversify into this space in due course. I'm not saying the other miners don't, but we have all seen how proactive Argo are. The collaborations with Pluto & Luxor are just a start

I invested in VELA. They are a sort of venture capital firm, but basically all they seem to do is raise funds through placings to invest in companies. ARB was one of their investments which looked very promising, so I sold VELA at a loss and bought ARB instead.
On most BBs you will see cross ramps, or tips (depends upon your point of view). One in a hundred will be worth a punt, but you have to research all you can.
My biggest tip?
Avoid dodgy Directors at all costs.

peterscunny, try doing some research and you'll see that Argo have this covered.

I've sold 40% of my year end position for similar reasons. Enjoy the benefits of your investment and remember, there's a reason they don't put a roof-rack on a hearse. You can't take it with you.
