Look at the RNSs. Count the dates when there 'was' an RNS. Now count the dates when there wasn't. The non-event probability will always outweigh an action occuring. To repeatedly call this out and claim it as perspicacity is somewhat self agrandising.
I'm open alternate views on this, but the idea that Samsung's case suddenly gained some hidden traction doesn't sound at all logical. When their case was ostensibly weak they were prepared to go to trial, but then when it somehow strengthened they wanted to settle pre-trial....?
That's unfair troublesome, poor old Samsung are having their IP infringed upon by those unscrupulous Chinese:

They're the real victims.
The danger is they 'may' slow down their selling until the settlement amount is announced, the SP will - hopefully - rise based on that factual information, and then Lombard will once again tank it by selling another 4-5% tranche.
Vindication tastes so sweet, and it's not just about the money. If we are ever to progress then we need the research and the innovators, and the just rewards for that work must be paid for otherwise the world becomes dis-incentivised and progress slows. Similar arguments exist for not dis-incentivising investment - are you listening Jeremy?! Well done everyone for keeping the faith. Like many I will be holding onto my shares very tightly until further news comes down the line, but for now I can finally sit back and relax after several years of seeing my portfolio in the red. GLA!
I may be completely mis-remembering here, but I think one of Samsung's motions was for the total value of sales to be inadmissible during the trial. Happy for someone to disabuse me of that if their recollection is better. However, if true it would make it harder for the jury to put a true figure on damages.
Interesting comment in this review about Samsung dropping QD from the marketing:
Samsung has also, unexpectedly, not positioned QD-OLED as the flagship technology in its 2022 range (that honour goes to its Mini LED TVs), and even more strangely is marketing it under the same simple ‘OLED’ tech name that traditional OLED TVs use.
Can't say I've noticed this myself, but if true maybe trying to reposition away from the 'stolen' element to downplay it. I'd say that horse has well and truly bolted.
