Thanks for the advice. Risk is an underused word in trading/investing.

It's not usually a percentage, because it depends on where the last swing low was.

I'd like to be a long term loyal holder, but shares like this, and many more, seem to go into a long term decline losing shareholders lots of cash. My capital is too precious for that and that's why I use a stop loss and get out when the market tells me to. Otherwise I'd be sitting on large losses with unproductive capital tied up until who knows when? I've still got a lot to learn but I want to live to trade another day. GLA.

Peaked at 25.50p on Feb 20th. Has had a pullback to approx. 18p and then is recovering. It should head towards its 200 moving average soon at 26p

Good rise today signalling a breakout from 1000p. Although it's a buy, the upside is limited.

The rise from 20 to 33 was clearly overdone as sellers are taking the price to 28, and possibly a touch lower before the next push.

Despite positive results, shares were marked down by 6%. That's why I don't trade using fundamentals. PS: All the buying and selling was done on 6th March with a record 31m shares traded at the 53p level.

There will always be a debate about fundamentals vs technicals. But if you read Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds, you'll find that sometimes markets can become very irrational and prices ignore the fundamentals. You find it all the time on AIM and in commodities markets. Whichever way you trade, as long as you're profitable, then stick to that formula.

At the moment, HYR is like a group of horses at the Grand National making repeated false starts. Once we get properly under orders (i.e. positive news) then the race can start.

The mysteries of the stock market. Why has it lost 1/3rd of its value since the 70p high on 10th Jan? It this new trend continues, it's heading towards 39p.

And there you have it. A break out with only 2 tests of £30. A gap up today is bullish given the RNS although the market took it up to it's 61.8% retracement (at 3177) and bid it down to 3120 now. So easy does it although I'm sure more buyers will act on the news on Monday after it's been featured in the weekend press. Next target £3177 and then 3400. GLA

KNOS is making the next leg up today, by almost 3%. From a low of 184p in December 2016 it has now retraced 76% of the downward move. Not sure if there will be a pullback as the weekly chart shows the only way is up. Time will tell.

Looks like the trading statement is in May (date TBA) and then we'll really know if all their appointments and organisation changes are bearing fruit.

Bid up to 120p yesterday but today there's reality as market sells it down to 110p. From a technical perspective, price could still go higher but it's not conclusive: 1) Yesterday's close was above the daily 200 EMA 2) Today's close is likely to be just below it, but not convincingly. 3) From 15th Feb to 2nd March the 200 EMA was repeatedly tested to the upside. 4) On 10th Feb the price broke above its descending triangle pattern 5) MACD and RSI are in agreement with the price action (i.e. no divergence - to the downside) 6) 108p is possible if the gap gets filled, and then SIG could move to the upside. This morning's exceitement has faded with the bears dominating.

Confirmed break out from its downtrend and backed by today's news, which despite losses signals the start of a turnaround. Good luck if you're a holder, although today also offers a good risk/reward trade as well.

Yes. Big volume today. It's possible there may be a breakout, but we'll have to wait and see.
