(Sharecast News) - Clinical-stage biotechnology company ValiRx has signed an agreement with an unnamed global Japanese pharmaceutical company to evaluate its therapeutic, VAL301, in order to contemplate a potential future license for its use in the treatment of endometriosis.
The AIM-traded firm said the material transfer agreement covered the evaluation of VAL301 in a series of preclinical proof-of-concept and efficacy studies relating to endometriosis.

Studies were also scheduled to consider proprietary delivery methods for the compound.

"The Japanese company has already conducted a thorough review of ValiRx's prior data under terms of a confidentiality agreement, and now wishes to use material provided by ValiRx to conduct their own experiments," the board said in its statement.

For context, ValiRx said it had developed its VAL301 decapeptide for use in the treatment of endometriosis, while the Japanese company had a range of pre-clinical assays for testing drug candidates for use in the treatment of endometriosis, as well as several commercial and developmental products in women's health, and other healthcare areas.

"To both parties' mutual potential benefit therefore and under the terms of the material transfer agreement, ValiRx will supply the required quantities of compound, while the Japanese sponsor will be responsible for undertaking an agreed programme of work at its own expense."

Today's agreement is with a MAJOR JAPANESE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY, yet to be announced, these companies can range from £100m-£1Bn, with such backing, this has derisked VAL. And we don't even know anything about the deal involved in this financially.

In addition, the rumours of potential Joint Venture in relation to the Company's non-core intellectual property - GeneICE, TRAC and BioFit.JV have been confirmed but yet to be announced of details.

Since COVID, all Pharma companies have rocketed in share price, but more importantly MC has multiplied. Those companies that were under £5-£10m MC are now ranging from £20m-200m.

We have yet to see other updates, but as soon as old board got rid of and director appointed, same day we got agreement with Major Japanese Pharma.

I'm expecting more good news to follow sooner than later.

At such a low MC for a pharma company, with agreements in place and potential JV's, there is low risk with multiple gains, as you've seen this has easily multi-bagged in days.

For it to go to £1 share price, Valirx MC will only be £17m,

Compare this with MTFB, it is in Millions of debt. Has a product that FDA has not approved.

They already raised £200,000 at beginning of Apr 2020

so if they raise £200,000 again, it won't dilute share significantly as MC is now above 2m so will only dilute less than 10%

Trades have almost reached £1m worth, taking into account average of 11.5p, that is almost half the MC of the company

SANTIAGO, Chile — Government officials said Monday they would move ahead with plans to issue the world's first "immunity passports," cards that would allow people who have recovered from the novel coronavirus to return to work, over the concerns of physicians who warned that much about covid-19 immunity remains unknown.

Paula Daza, an undersecretary in the Chilean Health Ministry, said more than 4,600 people have recovered from the virus and will now be eligible to receive physical or digital cards. Holders will be exempt from quarantines and other restrictions.

Other applicants may be tested for the presence of antibodies to determine eligibility. Details have been sparse, but officials have promised a mass testing plan and say cards will be issued to people with a “very high probability” of being noncontagious.
