Out of interest the_adams, what percentage chance would you give QED of signing a commercial contract in the next 12 months?

I have realised I am definitely a glass half full person! My thought process is that we are the best position with the most projects and the most money we have ever had, and the governments and regulators are forcing massive companies to become greener unlike 10 years ago. I would say we are no longer 50/50 but more 80/20 or higher. I would say these odds are decent but I respect your half empty glass 👍 there I always some risk.

Definitely. Maybe this week is the week we start a proper rise. I agree 8-10 on the start of the trial plus Panama and Utah progress possibly about 20p. Once the trial finishes if commercial 50? Then depends on roll out to how many ships etc and in Utah how many wells etc. the point many have made in the past is if this actually takes off it won’t hang around. It is all or nothing in many respects.

My summary would be best case scenario QED are at the forefront of fuel revolution and we could be worth many many many multiples of today’s value. Worst case we will be still awaiting some progress (unlikely) and be at same price. The company has enough cash for 12-18 months. The amount of fingers they have in their many pies means the odds are looking the best they have ever looked for the company.

There has been quite a few articles over the past week or two. In the investor meet in March, JM said they would definitely increase their media presence to coincide with start of the trial. Coincidence at moment or is this the hint that June is the green light?

My buys both reported as sells so not sure what I believe looking at the trades.

Another question SC if they aren’t doing a POC trial then it seems an incredible waste of fuel and money considering the ridiculous amount of unnecessary manoeuvres and extra time at sea. I was under the impression they are doing everything in their power to streamline the boats, routes and operations to save them money. You are correct in that all this is odd.

Let’s hope they haven’t been using MSAR then otherwise we may have just broke an engine 😬

Spot on there really isn’t very much time left in Q2. I am hoping that this period of silence ends the same way as the prolonged silence in oct/november last year. We ended up getting about one RNS per week for about 5 weeks which was almost unheard of for QED. If we only had one or two projects on the go I would be getting very very nervous by now but with the 6 or 7 things going on I am actually very very excited 🤞something has to give soon 👍

Fair enough HF. I hope you enjoyed your time at the tennis and hope the weather was better than here. In answer to the question I wasn’t being sarcastic. JM and the board could have given themselves a bonus scheme whereby they only had to achieve a certain point of any project to get a bonus. If they had all got a bonus because they made the goal ridiculously easy would you then regard JM as a successful CEO.? My comment and view was based on the position he has now placed us in as a company and the shear scale of opportunity that may come to fruition this year. It could be seriously enormous. I think if we didn’t get bought out then it would not be pence people would be looking at when to sell it would be at which pound. Will take a few years but the opportunity is there.

Just rewatched the march investor meeting too and Jason says they have a much firmer idea of when Panama is going ahead and it is certainly in Q2. Possibly Morocco too. From watching the video again I would be very surprised if Panama isnt either just about to start or has already started to make sure they adhere to their 6 month agreement. Panama a 2 week trial and Morocco 1 month but possibly less due to the much larger Kiln.

Just read the Panama RNS agreement again and the 6 month agreement elapses on the 16th June. One way or another we should have an RNS update about Panama in the next 12 days.
