My understanding you can apply for more additional shares but you're not sure if you can get them, that depends on either oversubscribed/unsubscribed RI.

Tarth, The RI can be unsubscribed or oversubscribed
unsubscribed = where the shareholders don't want to take full amount designed to them;
oversubscribed = where every shareholders want the full allocated amount of issued shares.

Surfit, If the RI is oversubscribed you wouldn't be able to buy additional issued shares.

That will never happened to Premier Oil. It has a large and solid II and very good assets.

The other thing to mention, If the deal goes through the creditors, in their interest, will close the short positions and support the share price upwards for over 1 year.

Megla, I never said RI could be at premium. What I said si the "placing" of new shares for new II could be at premium price. Two things are different. Imagine a new II want to buy 10 to 20M shares within 2 weeks the share price will fly.

The other thing ppl are missing PMO will REJOIN FTSE250 with new MCAP.

just clarification for you, the share price can go lower than the issued price. However the RI can not be lower than nominal price 12.5p.

Yes they can have a new nominal value BUT the new nominal value has to be higher than previous one.

No is not.... same as when the RI price is lower they (MM) reduce SP and make a loss and when RI price is higher they raise SP and make a profit...,

I am not IS , but what I’m saying IF, the MM will raise the share price. More importantly there is only £175M for RI, the large investors (II) could share 70 to 80% of shares in issue.
So private investors could only share between 20 to 30% to RI.
