The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Sharebag - TBF the 30th March RNS & in the subsequent 15th (I think) June RNS covering 2019 Finals, stated '£2m in confirmed orders'. There is a difference (to me at least) between 'confirmed orders' and say 'revenue received'.
We don't know when exactly those £2m of confirmed orders will, or have been dealt with and in turn invoiced and paid.
We do know GB has recently again, a couple of times, quite confidently stated that £4m in accounted revenue is very much still on the cards (could be a bit more actually and hopefully so).
Anyhow, £4m minimum and who knows what to expect for next year, but expect a good forward looking statement on 15th Sept either way.
Oilbethere - Those two Form 8.3 RNS' you reference are really just declaring that the respective parties hold a certain amount and % of SKIN shares. Neither showed any sell declaration or reduction in holding since the Takeover notice was submitted. It's required for parties holding more than 1% of a companies overall shares, to declare their interest in a Takeover period, but in addition any sell/reduction. I cannot see anything but a declaration of their holding, at the date they declared.
The latest @LPLDL1 inside product getting further Taiwan exposure today. Nice plug on a popular 'Lifestyle' TV program - 1.6m Facebook & 500k YouTube followers. How many actual TV viewers, possibly north of those figures. Still all 5 folks on this show gulping it back.??

Just listened to today's BBC Radio 4's 'Inside Science' program. Well worth a listen, join it from about the 16mins in mark UNTIL THE END OF THE PROGRAM. I think you will find lots of comments and coverage of what going on mostly by Uni & Institute establishments in the UK for SARS-COV-2 monitoring/detection.

Just to be clear, in the TU end of March, it was stated Integumen had;
'c£2m of confirmed orders so far in Q1, 2020 for delivery in the current financial year'
So we had not 'made' £2m in Q1, however as so early in the year and as stated to be delivered this year, I would expect all that £2m of work done and paid for before Y/E quite easily. Would like to know how much in 'confirmed' orders were received in Q2, but as that has passed by a few weeks now, I guess that's not forthcoming and we await official H1 reveal.
I would not be surprised if a tad less £ confirmed new business was signed in Q2, considering more into the thick of Lockdown around the world at that point. Obviously I could be wrong and would love to be so. I certainly still feel the £4m revenue target set for this year is on, now things are in a 'new normal' for now at least and taking the Covid-19 disruptions somewhat into account. I will be pleasantly surprised if we did do significantly more than that original target though, i.e £5m+ ?????
Would like to know a bit more on where the £2m work came in for during Q1, i.e. core LabSkin work, accumulated Parity deals, standalone RinoCloud work etc...
The bigger unknown, is how quickly we can get this RAWTest tech all up and running and then how quickly we can at least service MWG and receive some revenue from it. Obviously at what cost and how will the partnership agreements work etc. Anyhow, were getting some revs now from reagent supply of MWG, to add to the mix at present now.
It's all good (I think), but Interested to hear others thoughts and expectations for H1 and Y/E, as just my (perhaps) naive thoughts. ??

Yes of course I had assumed the cartridges, with there coating, would have a finite life and also that they would need replacing after any positive detection. That goes without saying and also, my use of 'fit and forget', was more to the point of no need to remember or schedule in a testing, no need for manual intervention and recording etc...
I should have made that clearer though, cheers.
Thanks again GB, makes things clearer for me at least.

Re you last post, this is my take to a) and b)
a) In reference to the RNS of the 18th March and 30th March, neither explicitly said they were supplying reagents to MWG to detect SARS-COV-2. Rather, that it was now in a revenue sharing agreement with them, to produce and supply reagents they already used and/or were compatible with their own monitoring tech. It is more recently I think that SKIN and MWG have been looking to develop an add-on piece of kit for use at Wastewater Plants to also now detect SARS-COV-2. Initially, Labskin will have been looking to develop an adequate reagent to make the spike protein of the virus bind to the photonic plates. I believe the optical change on the plate, upon binding would then trigger the 'Real Time' alert that would also feed back into a Wastewater Plants own IT monitoring infrastructure for recording and actionable purposes. Therefore the original reagent agreement with MWG has not changed it terms of its agreement, prospective volume and sales value per batch.
b) I am not sure what you are trying to get at here tbh (and this is not in any way being disingenuous), the RAWtest kit as previously noted will provide an automated 'fit and forget' option to detect SARS-COV-2 and a further 3 other targets (with the 4 unit set-up). There are many ways in which the SARS-COV-2 can be detected, SKIN are looking to provide a fully integrated piece of kit for the aforementioned reasons and will, via MWG, have sounded out the interest for this 'Real Time' AI tech. There will be in time other virus and bacteria detection updates I am sure, we already know about E Coli for one.
I hope this might help, but once again, maybe I have it wrong. Happy to be corrected.

I kind of understand where you are coming from, but the Aptamer collaboration is just a part of the overall 'Real Time' package offering that is the ultimate offering end point. I am sure GB has done a thorough assessment of how this will be beneficial to SKIN, this 'Real Time' AI offering, with it's integratable abilities to existing on-site IT infrastructure etc...
Anyhow, maybe GB will give a better answer AGAIN to those concerns, but still quite happy with how things seem to be going and with the many strands SKIN has.

Thanks for your replies this morning GB, certainly clarifies the situation.

I can understand your point re the Aptamer pregnancy type kit, giving almost instant positive/negative readings and so a good post. A few things on this though, wouldn't it require several times a day wastewater checks to get a pot luck passing detection sample. RAWtest tech is automated and water will be constantly passing through it, so much more likely to get a hit on Covid-19 through spike protein lock on. There will be a 4 unit option, which to my understanding (correct me if wrong) means they can be set to detect for 4 different virus, bacteria, etc.. targets at any one time. It's all automated (24/7 monitoring as you stated), so fit and forget until detection, no need for manual sampling to remember to be done and carried out. However, agree price point will also be a factor, but it seems pretty obvious MWG will be looking to retrofit to many of their tech and both will have sounded out potential for market demand surely.
Got to admit what will be needed financially to advance it, having partner agreements will help somewhat and still give us some decent profit no doubt, or I hope so.
Would like to see Integumen as part of this with their offering, but think they are not at present. I suppose it not mean that they won't though. Either way, they have so many options to incorporate within or with MWG fixed and mobile tech around the world, so plenty of work to come from there I am sure. We know LabSkin were rushing to meet reagent demand for MWG clients in Spain, Italy and China, I bet many of those contacts will be interested in the AI being finalised. As regards to home ground UK connections with water utilities etc, I am not too sure about. I know they did win a big joint project with Northumbria Water to construct a Wastewater facility in Gibraltar, so connection there of sorts. I am sure an automated 'Real Time' trigger, that can or will be miniaturised for use in so many circumstances, wastewater, multi purpose buildings, big office blocks, dental clinics etc.. will be much wanted. As GB has said and been reiterated here, the people of highly skilled and knowledgeable specialisms will make this unique and we'll worth the wait. Or at least, here's hoping.

AlJazeera News covered it yesterday, although neither Imutex or SEEK mentioned, it is AGS-v they are referring to. Brief comment from a UK virologist giving it a thumbs up as well.

I'm not an expert, but I understood Faecal Coliform to be a sort of genus/grouping term used in which certain strain specific Microorganisms can be found. One such subgroup of them is E-Coli l, which we know is covered (and many other subgroups thereof I am sure), by the Labskin/RawTest set-up.
I could be somewhat wrong on the explanation.
Article from two days ago in the Guardian and don't forget how the RinocloudAI 'RAWTest' can detect nitrates, phosphates , Ecoli and other pathogens, plus is already commercial available.
'Millions of tons of manure from Minnesota’s animal feedlots is a risk to consumer health as it threatens to raise nitrate and phosphorus levels in the state’s rivers, lakes and drinking water, a study has found.'

Paper released the other day -
Universal coronavirus vaccines: the time to start is now
I remember CF mentioning how with our Universal 'Flu-V', you could look to 'swap out' the T-cells for a Coronavirus virus. You could then potentially have a good basis for a Universal Coronavirus vaccine. Might help sell the value of Imutex as a whole even more.
Conclusion to the paper;
'These studies will be absolutely necessary for us to intelligently design efficacious vaccines not just against SARS-CoV-2 but also against other coronaviruses that are likely to emerge in the future. If work on influenza can serve as a lesson, a universal coronavirus vaccine will not be easy to develop, but if we do not start work on one now, we will find ourselves in a similar situation during the next outbreak.'

'ScienceAlert' article dated today, look what gets mentioned at no.3 - 'Flu-v'.
They are excited for a P3 happening and so should we, but perhaps perhaps for other reasons.
