RE: Shipment18 Nov 2025 09:24
Hi Thordon
good to hear from you, hope all is good.
Sorry if I have muddied the waters as regards what I had posted.
I used the cost of sodium polyitaconate as a benchmark, to give some context to the quantise being shipped and the potential revenues associated with this.
we did $1.5 million of business in Europe in the first six months, so the ship circa 6 mill Euros or circa 7 mill Dollars of finished goods, to me is huge. potentially over 4 times what we did in the first six months, my question is why so much?
Do we need to demonstrate a high level of safety stock to satisfy our customer?
The description ascribed to the shipment is "Natural polymers and modified" which I am thinking will cover quite a few of our performance ingredients (better GPM) https://itaconix.com/products
Remember Europe has a totally different structure to North America, the vast majority of the formulated solutions, contract manufacturers (SPARX, lower GPM) are for the North American market, Europe have their own formulators (higher GPM)
Thoughts very much appreciated
I may be meandering down the wrong path, but the information on the shipments is plain to see.
