Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
@Bladey - I really hope they do as well! It is about time they get burnt!
I would like to see you send a company that has assets of £100 million + and debt of £25 million that has gone bust? Each business is totally different and just because you have not seen it happen does not mean it cannot happen! A lot of businesses get suspended and come out the other side! Most businesses that you will mention will have massive debt and low income! RMM is nothing like these and the RNS coming out have all been positive since suspension! As mentioned, there is an asset here that can be sold at worst case scenario!
This process is targeting cost reductions and improvements in operational efficiency that the management expects to yield cost savings of up to US$1 million per month.
announces it has taken a forward sale position for 750 metric tonnes of copper over a 12-month period at a price of US$8,330 per tonne. This represents a nominal 11% of expected future copper production from the Ming Mine, subject to completion of the 2023 budget
@Donal - It totally depends on who answers this question and their opinion on how confident they are in RMM. Old investors (Who are not invested now) will probably tell you based on past experience that this is on the brink of going bust and not to trust BoD and the shareholders will get nothing. Others will be more positive like myself and say that this is going to do well looking at the key points from the recent RNS's Copper prices increasing, Debt Restructure, Cost savings of $1 million per month, Production at the most it has been ever! in my personal opinion this mine is going to thrive once the stumbling blocks of debt refinancing is sorted! (Which to be honest the debt is not large at all considering the assets and production) I can personally see this hitting 30+ p in the near future (Once the suspension is lifted) and who knows what the share price will get to if production, profits and the price of copper keeps increasing! My worst-case scenario is they cannot refinance debt and put the business up for sale and we get something trivial like 20p a share!
So, what you are saying is the cost cutting exercises will pay off debt in the next 12/18 months, so then they can borrow more to grow the business in the future?
Make profit to pay off loans then borrow big to reduce debt? That doesn't make sense. Wouldn't borrowing more increase debt?
Rambler is obviously ticking boxes for a new loan agreement on better terms! Reduction in costs of $1 million a month and now securing 11% of the copper production for the next 12 months! I would not be surprised if we get a few more RNS showing they have forward sold more at a similar rate! Showing lenders, they have a good revenue stream for the next 12 months and can afford to pay back the money lent and not get into this position in the future.
Why would your name be in an RNS?
@Moon - I actually agree with one your statements! I did not think this day would come!
Thats considerable savings! That would put them at near debt free after 3 Years! And even sooner if Copper continues to rise like people are predicting! I am guessing these are things that Lenders are looking at for refinancing!
"This process is targeting cost reductions and improvements in operational efficiency that the management expects to yield cost savings of up to US$1 million per month.!
I had to read that twice! Ha - I am hoping that this can be sorted out sooner rather than later! But the higher Copper goes, the better for us as investors and RMM. GLA
A pitty we are suspended as these copper rises would have been good to the share price over the past week!
Definitely! It is long overdue! Lets be honest it should not be below $4
Biggest rise ive seen in a while on copper Prices! Pushing over $3.6 at the minute!
I agree it is impossible to deramp a share that is suspended! As there is no financial gain from this. I think these are just opinions! I was hoping for some clarification today but guessing it may not come! I will be very surprised if we do not get anything tomorrow. Hopefully it is good news and we dont have to wait too long. GLA
I am not disagreeing with you with regards to an offer potentially on the table, but I am not sure they will get an offer for 40p+ at this moment in time (I would love to be wrong by the way) I personally think an offer at this time would be 15 - 20p at most. Rambler with restructured debt with affordable monthly payments then yes 40p is achievable!
@moon - You have changed your tune?
What is the meaning behind the 2nd RNS "Block Listing Six Monthly Return" - What is this? Sorry if I sound stupid I am not 100% sure what it is.
To Be honest the only reason I want this to come out suspension is with a debt restructure package or for an offer off another company! Without a Solid RNS about the future I prefer to be in suspension so this cannot be manipulated down any further! At this moment in time based on what is happening and what we know suspension is the best option for us as shareholders to retain value! As mentioned before if this would have been leaked then this would literally be under 1p right now!
Personally I think this was probably the best case beingsuspended! As let's be honest if they came out and said this hasn't been sorted and they can't afford to pay Newgen and this wasn't suspended then the price would be less than 1p right now and all value they had (not much) would be gone! Building the price back to 30p is considerably harder when your share price is less than 1p. Building it up from 5.5p is much more achievable! I'm hoping they come out of suspension with a new deal. GLA invested here!
Very Large gains on Copper today! Hopefully we can start seeing a push to $4
