Good morning BM,
My understanding of options is that they must be paid for by the person offered to, if taken up within the offer period. To me they are good as the money goes directly to solg. Any so rise above 40/60p represents a bonus. They represent a faith by the company in the future so growth thus encouraging worker loyalty, etc. However how some will be able to afford them at those prices will be challenging!
As for Mather and his recent performance as CEO, I think it is a shocking abuse of private investors. I don't know what proportion of share pl's hold, but I'm guessing it's not insignificant. At some points by in the future no doubt he will need our support, I for one will have to give it some consideration before offering support given recent behaviour!
Perhaps the ministry has access to information that we do not have yet!
Morning Pad and all. Thanks for your information regarding the increased value of Alpala as a result of the increased recovery of Cu, Au and Ag. I presume the calculations are all based on mre2. If we expecting an increase in resource (mre3) by 15% as mentioned earlier In the year we might be looking at a lifetime value around 93b.
However given the secretive nature of this year's drilling results and the continued search for the edges of the resource, would it be a great surprise if mre3 was up say 25% on mre2, giving it a life time value of more than 100b? That might stimulate some sp action!
I actually expect a RNs for mre3 and assay results for BN this week given the way Xmas holidays fall this year and solg past record in publishing pre Xmas results. So this week or 2nd or 3rd week in January imho.
Anyhow good luck all and early seasonal greetings.
He seemed to be confidential that the permits were imminent and drilling soon to commence. I hope so!!
Oops cancel that, it's in Toronto!!!
I see solg (nm?) Are presenting in the red cloud octoberfest mining meeting 26th October? I'm assuming it's in London (Kensington rooms) , anybody planning to go?
Thank you Pinot for the court ruling data, another weight off our mines until the next general election, by which time the revenues may have started to roll in for the government making in ban much less likely
A reply might be imminent or soon

Geomagnetic surveys from some tenements
Morning all, nobody seems to have noticed or commented on the drill path that seems to pass through parambas! Is this a go for gold move as that target has long been thought to be epithermal and potentially gold rich. It awaits results!
LSE is registering the trades but a buy from me this morning went thru as unknown. Sells seem to mark up ok
Morning all, I see Jason Ward is presenting tomorrow (Sunday) at the Ecuador Day session. He's in session one before cornerstone in session two. The session is entitled "strategic mining updates", I wonder if this will be a tee up for Nick Mather to slam dunk on Tuesday? When will the talks be available? Gla
Morning all, I seem to recall an area of interest just north of Alpala that is an epithermal zone, parambas, which was part of the original Cascabel discovery. It has rarely had a mention but I seem to recall a picture of JW standing in front of a wall of epithermal material and close ups similar to the current regional finds. The Geo models also suggest this is a large deposit. So my question is, if we don't have drill permits yet for the other tenements would it not be useful to drop a drill into parambas to see if the go for gold by policy can be started from under our noses. Is it a technology issue, an area of sensitivity problem or I missed a notification, with have a good week
Good day all, I'm expecting to hear about hole 64 today, however I wonder if they have pulled back a bit to get some daughter hole(s) drilled, which may delay results a little. As for sp and t/o thoughts, I seem to remember perhaps two years ago that the Chinese government made it relatively easy for companies to invest upton 1 billion $ overseas (not so easy over a billion). I am guessing that cascabel will go for over eventually, so they likely would need a JV. Anyone see a big co joining up with Chinese given their record in Ecuador!! Gla
Morning all,
Of course there now is the chance that we may be promoted to the FTSE 250 group when the next promotion/relegation round comes up in December. I seem to remember that the last relegation was at a MC of under 600m, so we are in the right area. If it does come about then there may well be a flurry of buying of SOLG so those companies offering FTSE 250 trackers can keep their funds correctly allocated! Might add a few % to the sp!
Article in today's Sunday Times business section:
:Gulf investor joins scramble for lithium miner Bacanora Minerals....
A secretive fund from Oman is in talks to buy a £50m stake in a London-listed lithium miner amid an escalating land grab for the mineral — a crucial component in electric car batteries."
"The Gulf nation’s State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) wants to buy a chunk of Bacanora Minerals, an AIM-quoted company looking to raise £400m in debt and shares to develop a Mexican lithium mine, say City sources. SGRF is also aiming to strike an “off-take” agreement with Bacanora, securing supplies of lithium once production has begun."
excellent Q, right on the button
I agree with you there BN.c, I also wish they would simplify and focus more with the presentation, atm too much unreedable data on the slides. Too many slides too much info crammed.into limited time!! The people attending these forums must be bored to death with effectively the same presentation. Could do better!
There is news due for the Trivino drill as well, should be at least 400m by now? Should be a remarkable update!!
goid find!! "JORC resource of 21 million tonnes....on 100% held land ....reserves of 5.15 million tonnes on 100% owned land" Later slide 8, 15.4 mtonnes 100%, owned land, 5.6 mtonnes 70% owned jv land !!!!. only reference I can see to jv!! What's going on??
